“Our first time here and we love this little country restaurant. Lots of locals do, too. The parking lot was packed and the Saturday wait time for breakfast was 20 minutes. The service was friendly, efficient and fine. Our pancakes were a bit on the heavy side, but breakfasts were tasty and great otherwise. Not a fan of the guest check, which only had the server's scribbled notes with no prices or total until it was taken to the cashier. But will definitely return.”

We’ve had the oatmeal, bagel and veggie spread, waffles and most recently we tried the Polish Omelette and wow, hands down our new favorite. We also love the coffee and how they offer the imported brews for sale by the bag. If you’re in the Emory area this is a must try breakfast spot.”

“Me & my best friend went here for for the first time for lunch. We loved the staff and how the restaurant was decorated! Some of the food was lacking seasonings but nothing a little salt couldn’t fix. We enjoyed the fried chicken and black eyed pea cakes. When we got the bill we were really shocked at the price. I believe they added some kind of cottage or ricotta cheese to them. I ordered a biscuit on the side ($4.75) and was very disappointed. Going to give lunch a try next time.”

”For obvious reasons, I’m skeptical about new restaurants in Atlanta with lots of rules and regulations. Rules posted out front gave me pause. Got inside and it’s very nicely decorated. A bit small, but they’ve made the space work. Food was delicious. I had lobster bites and a cinnamon swirl waffle. Again, delicious! Everyone seemed to enjoy their food and drinks. Service was good but as it got busier, I think our server was a bit overwhelmed. She was great though. Definitely planning on coming back (I was there for brunch) for bingo, karaoke and happy hour!”

”We went for brunch with another couple. It's a small place but very cute! Food is very good and a good choice of items. The avocado toast is very big,I couldn't eat all of mine. The Dutch baby w fruit was yummy !! Decorated very cute. The coffees were my favorite! They do the designs in them. Mine was a swan. Great place for ladies' brunch. it was a loud in ther, but that's because they were full. The wait staff is nice, very patient, and helpful. We were there a long time, and no one said anything negative. We will Definitely be going back soon!!”

The salad bar is limited but everything seems fresh and the coleslaw is some of the best. Hushpuppies are excellent as well! If you can get a lakeside table it's a nice view. Our server was excellent; however, it took over 30 min to get our entrees even though there were only a few people there. Prices are very reasonable.”

”First time here. Funky, old fashioned style diner, with simple menu and home style cooking. Went about 10:30 am, so not crowded. My ham, sausage and jalapeño omelet tasted great. The jalapeños had some serious heat, so coffee didn't cut it, and water was required to control the fire. Decor (see photos) was just right for this kind of eatery, and our waitress had a personality that brought back memories of better times, when people just seemed generally friendlier and happier.”

”Oh yes! This is a winner! For the uninitiated a cat-head biscuit is traditionally a biscuit so big it’s the size of a cats head. These ARE! But it’s not just huge-it’s PERFECT! Fluffy, dense, moist, crispy edges of buttery goodness. The Atomic biscuit is a succulent deep fried chicken breast, a slice of country ham, cheese, gourmet onion bacon jam and smoky sagey sausage gravy. I asked for my biscuit on the side so I could just enjoy all the parts. My dining partner got a brisket hash bowl so we SHARED my massive biscuit and I feel that they might love me more for it. (Just sayin’) The atmosphere is on point! I loved everything about this place. I love the Larry Moe and Curly videos and I love Lucy posters. The staff was SO sweet and took so much pride in their food prep, and their fast delivery. I’m already craving that biscuit. Can’t wait to make this a regular stop. Canton is considered one of the most charming small towns in The United States. After visiting the last few weeks I can see why. So much to do there! Shopping, dining and enjoying the charm. Check out the Etowah Mill. It’ll take weeks to see it all.”

”Helloooo Mary! My goodness gracious it’s hard to find a good southern cooking restaurant these days but Mary’s checked all the boxes from the sweet tea, food and environment. Not to mention it’s snuggled in the valley of the beautiful mountains of Young Harris. I learned about Mary’s from my nephew who graduated from YHC and swears by their $1 pancakes. But I visited with my mama and sister for lunch. I enjoyed the fried catfish strips, my sister had the grilled ham and my mama the fried chicken. Our plates were licked clean and I’m planning another visit to the area just so I can eat here. They used to take cash only but have recently started taking credit cards so come hungry and eat big - they are 5 ⭐️ in this country girls book.”
