Dahlonega Gold Museum

Open until 04:45 PM

1 Public Square N, Dahlonega, GA 30533, United States

“Completely worth of eight dollar fee to enter! The movie is fantastic and it is upstairs, there’s a very unique way to get to the second floor as well! The two Park Rangers downstairs were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about all of the questions that we had. The meant section as well as the first families in the area were very interesting. Gift shop is small and very niche but cute. Upstairs is where the real history starts. From the introduction to the area as well as the mining equipment on display. It is fascinating to see. There was a volunteer guide up at the top, which was incredibly knowledgeable and let us see even gold inside the brick structure of the building. Totally amazing. Overall, it was an incredible unique experience in downtown. Dahlonega cannot be missed anyway, so there’s no reason not to come!”

Augusta Museum Of History

560 Reynolds St, Augusta, GA 30901, United States

“Truly an amazing display of objects associated with the history and growth of Augusta...the James Brown exhibit was truly a well put together tribute to an amazing performer who not only shared his talents with the world but kept his life roots strong within his own community of Augusta. I would recommend this to families trying to express the importance of equality and what we can accomplish as individuals I was a bit disappointed they didn't have much tourist merchandise such as t shirts or postcards...they only had buttons and magnets”

200 Abercorn St, Savannah, GA 31401, United States

”Serene park and historic cemetery, central to Savannah's historic district. Closed to interments since 1853, so the graves / markers are all quite old. Fascinated by the longer epitaphs on grave stones that are large flat (horizontal) markers. Nicely maintained by the city's cemetery staff. Even subtle little cans for depositing dog waste. Keeps the grassy areas free for walking.”

Hollywood Connection Family Fun Center

Open until 10:00 PM

1683 Whittlesey Rd, Columbus, GA 31904, United States

”We were sitting down waiting on our food in the diner wondering why in the world it was so high. My husband checked the receipt and realized they charged us almost $35 for the 5 kids’ waters we requested (all big families understand this- getting water saves us so much money!). We thought it was an innocent mistake and that they accidentally charged us for drinks. Wrong. They charge this for sink water. They gave us a refund, but then came out 5 minutes later and TOOK the waters from the kids. FROM A TODDLER AND HIS SIBLINGS! The cups were already used, so instead of just letting these little kids have some tap water with our $60 worth of food, they REMOVED AND THREW AWAY the kids’ water. I still cannot believe this is real life and really happened. Manager there did not care and told me he hoped my day got better.”

The productions are on par with most off-Broadway performances and everyone from the cast, crew, Directors, Producers, and let's not ever forget the LIVE musicians are fantastic. ”I LOVED seeing and touching the replica dresses!!! the rest of the museum and gift shop were great. Loved all of it and it should be 5 stars but 1 star off because they have the green and blue dress and they are NOT displayed because they "need mannequins" they were just closed for a couple months this should have been thought about. 2. The staff anything I asked I was redirected to go to the Marietta History museum because it was really cool, but they never even told me why also come on at least TRY!! Also they were all just chatting like .....”

Silverspot Cinema At The Battery Atlanta
3.8
( 8 reviews )

960 Battery Ave SE Suite 5000, Atlanta, GA 30339, United States

”Very nice theater, but expensive! We went to a mid-week matinee during the last week of the Marvels. Adults were $18.98 and Seniors were $15.89, and the $5.00 booking charge made the total almost $40 for the two of us. They have food to order online and at the bar at the theater but did not have a normal concession counter. Setup for the upscale Battery market, but not great for a mid-day outing. There were only 4 people in the theater during our movie. Projection and audio systems were great.”
