“The massage therapist who worked on me was great. The experience was relaxing and great. My training partner told me his experience was the same. The decor was nice. The room was nice and well appointed. The hot towel was nice. The salt room looked cool, however I really don’t know if it did anything for my lungs or health. Kind of one of those things you have to research about I guess. We only booked the salt room for 30 minutes and was told that someone would come by and get us at the end of 30 minutes. No one came to get us and I was actually supposed to run errands so I just got up to leave in a hurry. The only thing that really pissed me off was the fact that my training partner during checkout was asked several times to tip 20% based on the total of the massage AND salt room which the masseuses were not involved in any way. The salt room is a machine and not the icing on the cake experience you would expect. My partner tipped 18% on the services we received which is what I consider a good tip for our experience. After he had done so the admin or owner gave him attitude about it. Usually when we go to massage spas they always say, “Thank you. We appreciate your business. Please come and see us again.” Instead my training partner got a sour look from the admin or owner and was inappropriately asked to increase the tip several times. Look he tipped 18% on the services of the masseuse NOT the salt room. It was an okay experience because we get lots of massages all the time from spas all over the world and the ending just kind of turned it into a terrible experience from a professional standpoint on the admin and not reflective of the massage therapists.”

“I would give them a 5. But $12 for an eyebrow wax don’t look like my eye brows been touched. I’m use to it looking like an arch and a shape. I’m also use to them waxing between the brows. Just don’t pay for a wax not worth it. They aren’t trained for it. However the customer service was awesome. The pedicure was very slow and not rushed even though they were busy. They were extremely nice the whole time. I love my toes and nails. A little bit pricey but the customer service is unmatched. I know to get my eyebrows done else where”

”After searching all weekend for a black owned nail salon nearby, I had a fantastic first visit to Soak & Polish for my gel manicure! From when I walked into the door, I received a warm welcome and offered a drink. I loved the decor and the lovely vibe. Zae also a manager, was amazing and did a wonderful job grooming my nails, which weren't in the best shape. She was also sweet, kind and thorough in my manicure. They also have a nice selection of scrubs made in house and I enjoyed the lemon grass one and can't wait to try others! I will definitely be a regular to this gem. And can't wait to come back next for a pedicure plus another manicure!”

All of the stylists are so good with kids, it's clean, there's a fun waiting area for the kids and a cute store area that has great gifts. They have a very good price for a kid's cut and can give you a special certificate if it's their first hair cut. They have regular and fun little chairs for the kids to sit in and have fun shows for them to watch. It's our go-to place and I highly recommend the services they provide.”

”Discriminatory practices! You might come here because it’s cheaper than going to a stylist who actually knows how to do your hair. Well their new policy (which is definitely targeted if you know what I mean) will make that irrelevant! If your appointment goes over 55 minutes (including the wash!) you will be charged more! Even though I wasn’t told that until after the stylist took 20 minutes to wash my hair. She clearly did not know how to do curly hair. I left with knots and a lot of frizz. You’re better off going somewhere that won’t treat you like an inconvenience because they’re not trained in your hair texture.”

I get my eyebrows threaded here, and no matter who does it, all the ladies do a great job in giving them a clean look with a nice shape. I recently got a haircut here and Miss Mina did a great job with the haircut including the shape and contour. Additionally, their prices are very reasonable. ”I stopped coming here after they thinned my eyebrows out and made them extremely uneven. It took me about a year to get my eyebrows back to normal after this mishap. Today I was short on time and they were the only salon in the area with no wait (now I understand why). I decided to give them another chance today with a simple upper lip threading. The technician cut me very badly in two places on my upper lip. Despite my efforts to communicate that she was applying too much pressure with the thread, the technician insisted that I was cut because I requested her to go over an area that still had hair that she had missed. Rather than being apologetic, she proceeded to cover my upper lip with Vaseline because she claimed this would remove my cuts. In addition the salon’s cleanliness was subpar. There was oil on the seat as well as wax that stuck to my hair. There are plenty of better salons in the area that provide better service. Will not be returning.”
