“Mekayla was an amazing server, so much so that I asked how long she had been doing this type of work. She has been at the juicy crab for a year and a half along with three plus years previous experience. She smiled the whole time and was so nice while my mom was talking about her dogs and running around her mother’s restaurant barefoot as a small child taking orders from the truck drivers. It was so nice to meet a real sincere person that enjoys conversation with customers while still ensuring we had all we needed for eating. We both ordered the half pound of head off shrimp and half pound of sausage. She smiled and told us about a deal on it that made the price only $12.99 which was surprising because there is no way that you can cook a meal at home at that price. The spice level was perfect and I like that the shrimp are split down the middle which make getting the shell off a breeze. I will let my friends know about the juicy crab and tell them to ask for Mekayla if she is available. We will definitely come back to eat again and try the Cajun green beans! Shantel is the manager and hostess and when I called with questions… man she went into detailed dishes and what options they offered, drink specials and I really appreciated that she didn’t try and rush me off the phone.”

“We are new to the area and have been hearing so much about City Grill. So we made reservations and we were very pleased with the experience. The atmosphere is very classy, but relaxed. The service was very attentive, knowledgeable about their specials. and made great suggestions. The food was exceptionally good! You have to try the fig pastry, it’s a must. We had a party of 7 and we were seated right on time. I would highly recommend City Grill and we will definitely be returning soon.”

“Our food greasy/soggy. The cheese dip was cold and the "large" wasn't very large. Our waiter seemed pretty disinterested in us. After taking our order he never came back to check on our drinks. I had to flag him down for refills and again for our check. The chicken on my nachos looked/tasted like it came from a can and the beef tasted like it has been cooked way earlier in the day. This was our first, and likely last visit here. There are a LOT of Mexican restaurants in town, so I suggest going to another.”

“We went for our anniversary dinner and were a little disappointed. I had the shrimp and grits, which were one of their specialties and I wasn't impressed. It was very soupy and not as spicy as I had hoped. There were bits of bacon fat and the shrimp was very plain. It would have been better if the shrimp had some Cajun flavor or something like it. We did have the Bananas Foster Cake and it was very good.”
