“My husband and I had to travel to Winfield on 10/20/2023 so we chose this hotel due to the reviews and location. We were there to put our daughter and unborn child to rest that passed on that prior Monday. We arrived at this hotel after noon proceeded to check in. As AARP members our room was priced at $150. We paid cash and was then told their door key machine was down and they would have to let us in our room. After entering the room I noticed a very strong odor of urine from the bathroom floor. I called the desk and a young lady came in and sprayed something in the toilet which did no good. After 4 hours I went back to the desk and asked if we could have our room key and was told they could not make keys till Tuesday! I then get an alert from my bank showing that this hotel charged my debit card $216.52. I immediately went back to the desk and the lady assured me it was just a hold and after the night audit it would come off my card. This morning we wake up to bury our daughter and unborn child to only find the charge still on my card. I again go back to the desk and was informed that the lady that checked us in not only took the cash but charged the card!!! The lady said “I will call my GM and get this fixed” this was at 10am. After the funeral we went back due to not receiving a call that this was corrected and was told that the Assistant Manager was going to fix it. This was already so unbelievable heartbreaking why we were there and now we have to deal with this! As of 6pm we still have not heard from this hotel nor has our debit card been credited back.”

“Our stay in Hotel Indigo was memorable beyond measure. The staff made us feel like it was a home away from home. Their kindness and courtesy made our stay wonderful. The room we stayed in was stunning. We were able to see the ocean and had a balcony to enjoy the view of the ocean and beautiful sunsets every day. The location of Hotel Indigo was perfect. We were able to get to the beach, shops and to food with a very short drive. We will be staying at this wonderful hotel again very soon. We will never be able to thank the Manager Lisa and all of the other staff enough for making our stay unforgettable.”

“After being stuck in the car for 25 hours, this was a longer drive than the closest available hotel. After combing through the reviews of our closest options, I opted to stick it out and drive an extra hour to get here. This hotel has great reviews, and it is easy to see why. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean. Water pressure is great and enough hot water for all 4 of us to take a nice shower. The gym had enough equipment to get in a morning pump and run. The breakfast is an awesome deal, which we all took advantage of. Lots of variety at a good price! Thanks again for helping the warey travelers and being kind!”

“BED BUG ALERT!!!! Do not stay here. The hotel offered zero recourse after I received dozens of BED BUG bites all over my body. I even caught one and showed the front desk when I was checking out. My son and I recently stayed in this Home2 Suites for one night. We got the King Suite and were told it was their nicest room (Room 252). Nice enough hotel in general. Friendly staff except for at around six in the morning when the lady setting up the free breakfast very quickly and curtly, asks everyone walking up what room they are in even though she is obviously not tracking any of it. Anyway my son is special needs, non verbal, in a wheel chair. I saw the BED BUG moving as I picked him up and put him in his chair in the morning. I caught it in a coffee cup and left the room. They offered nothing at the front desk when I checked out. By the evening I was covered in swollen itchy bites so I reached back out to the hotel the next morning. After a half hour on hold I gave up and sent an email to Hilton to try and warn them again about the situation. Corporate Hilton gave me an incident number and told me hotel management would contact me. No one has contacted me and it’s been over a week. So now I withdraw my support of this establishment. STAY AT YOUR OWM RISK! THERE ARE BED BUGS, THEY’VE BEEN INFORMED BUT THEY ARE A DEAD END.”

I like having a breakfast bar at any hotel BUT -- all the egg omelets had CHEESE on them! WHY why why? I asked if I could get eggs without cheese and was told NO.”

“This visit was absolutely great! Needed a place to stay while my A/C unit was being replaced. Hugh at the front desk helped me from check in to check out. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was great! I had an issue with my room and the front desk promptly moved me to another room, no questions asked. The entire staff here was friendly and professional throughout my stay. I would recommend this location to any and all that are coming to the Huntsville area for both business and pleasure.”

“I had no issue with staying in an accessible hotel room after being reassured that there were “many” accessible rooms available. So it was okay for me to have that room - cool, great. My concern is with the upkeep of accessible rooms: - Mini Fridge area. Chipped wooden shelf. - Broken/dented toilet roll holder. - Shower handle. Using the 2 headed shower was a bit complicated. The top head was difficult to turn and continued to spray on the wall. The 2nd head was attached to a rusted pole (at the top) - so wasn’t too keen to interact with it. A few areas of the tub were not clean - especially underneath the soap holder. - Bathroom sink area. Cracked sealant on both sides. Dirty bathroom sink overflow drain - Imagine sitting in a wheelchair and having constant visibility of black gunk. - Shampoo and Conditioner were up to high for folks who can't reach. - Would be great to have better lighting controls. Would be great to have better lighting in shower area - especially when the curtains are closed. Anyway, the main thing is - I would expect the same standard ("upscale accommodations") in accessible rooms. Yes, it has been a few years since I’ve stayed at Hilton Garden, but the room I stayed in this sure didn’t look like this. I enjoyed my stay then and looked forward to returning. This time, I felt like I was at a different hotel. My experience felt…dingy. Listen, I understand that newness wears off and times are different since the pandemic. I also understand that times are hard and folks be tired. Hope this is helpful.”

“The room was clean and well maintained, the bed was firm, but comfortable. The lady at the front desk was helpful and just so very sweet (I wish I could remember her name)! Others staying at the hotel were quiet and respectful of the others staying here which was also very nice. Just a heads up that during "rush hour" it will take you closer to 30 minutes to get to the airport instead of the normal 10 minutes it would usually take otherwise. All in all it was a great place to stay!”

“The staff was friendly and courteous but the facility is in need of some updates. Doors not working well. Wallpaper and paint peeling. Musty smell throughout the hotel. Furniture upholstery both in the guest room and common areas is worn and cracked. Breakfast food was typically average quality. Coffee was VERY weak. I am a faithful Hilton customer and would consider returning but I will look at other area hotels before making a decision. Update: I was contacted concerning my stay and apologies were expressed for the issues I encountered during my stay. It is encouraging to see that they are trying to resolve issues.
