“My husband and I had to travel to Winfield on 10/20/2023 so we chose this hotel due to the reviews and location. We were there to put our daughter and unborn child to rest that passed on that prior Monday. We arrived at this hotel after noon proceeded to check in. As AARP members our room was priced at $150. We paid cash and was then told their door key machine was down and they would have to let us in our room. After entering the room I noticed a very strong odor of urine from the bathroom floor. I called the desk and a young lady came in and sprayed something in the toilet which did no good. After 4 hours I went back to the desk and asked if we could have our room key and was told they could not make keys till Tuesday! I then get an alert from my bank showing that this hotel charged my debit card $216.52. I immediately went back to the desk and the lady assured me it was just a hold and after the night audit it would come off my card. This morning we wake up to bury our daughter and unborn child to only find the charge still on my card. I again go back to the desk and was informed that the lady that checked us in not only took the cash but charged the card!!! The lady said “I will call my GM and get this fixed” this was at 10am. After the funeral we went back due to not receiving a call that this was corrected and was told that the Assistant Manager was going to fix it. This was already so unbelievable heartbreaking why we were there and now we have to deal with this! As of 6pm we still have not heard from this hotel nor has our debit card been credited back.”

“I unfortunately am unable to give a good review on my stay at this hotel. Although the hospitality was great from the lady at the front desk, I found a bed bug crawling across the bed in my room on the 4th floor. I took pictures and videos and she confirmed that it was indeed a bed bug. To my knowledge no action has been taken to resolve the issue. I spoke with Hilton and they were supposed to get back in contact with me and I never heard back from them. Very disappointing because when I travel I always try to stay at a Hilton property.”

“From my call to make reservations until checkout, we were treated with the utmost courtesy and friendliness. Our room had an unpleasant odor, possibly from an animal, and we reported it immediately. We were given a spray and the next day a candle was left in our room. Our odor issue was addressed promptly and satisfactorily. (It would be nice if rooms were set aside for pets.) Each time we left or entered the lobby the staff greeted us. In fact, I just finished making another reservation.”

“After being stuck in the car for 25 hours, this was a longer drive than the closest available hotel. After combing through the reviews of our closest options, I opted to stick it out and drive an extra hour to get here. This hotel has great reviews, and it is easy to see why. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were very clean. Water pressure is great and enough hot water for all 4 of us to take a nice shower. The gym had enough equipment to get in a morning pump and run. The breakfast is an awesome deal, which we all took advantage of. Lots of variety at a good price! Thanks again for helping the warey travelers and being kind!”

“BED BUG ALERT!!!! Do not stay here. The hotel offered zero recourse after I received dozens of BED BUG bites all over my body. I even caught one and showed the front desk when I was checking out. My son and I recently stayed in this Home2 Suites for one night. We got the King Suite and were told it was their nicest room (Room 252). Nice enough hotel in general. Friendly staff except for at around six in the morning when the lady setting up the free breakfast very quickly and curtly, asks everyone walking up what room they are in even though she is obviously not tracking any of it. Anyway my son is special needs, non verbal, in a wheel chair. I saw the BED BUG moving as I picked him up and put him in his chair in the morning. I caught it in a coffee cup and left the room. They offered nothing at the front desk when I checked out. By the evening I was covered in swollen itchy bites so I reached back out to the hotel the next morning. After a half hour on hold I gave up and sent an email to Hilton to try and warn them again about the situation. Corporate Hilton gave me an incident number and told me hotel management would contact me. No one has contacted me and it’s been over a week. So now I withdraw my support of this establishment. STAY AT YOUR OWM RISK! THERE ARE BED BUGS, THEY’VE BEEN INFORMED BUT THEY ARE A DEAD END.”

I encountered difficulties with the car rental company and had to wait for the roadside assistance for 2-3hours, which unfortunately never arrived. “I recently stayed at the Hotel Indigo Columbus at Riverfront Place and was impressed with the modern and clean facilities. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The views of the river were remarkable and added to the overall experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Columbus, GA. The hotel is located in a prime location and offers a variety of amenities, including a fitness center, shared lounge, restaurant, and bar. The rooms were spacious yet cozy and extremely clean. The room decor is well thought out and is consistent with the history of the area. There were multiple electrical outlets plus six additional dedicated USB plugs for charging my devices! I am a photographer and carry lots of equipment, so I was in heaven with all the options for my devices. As for parking, there is only street parking which will result in a lengthy walk back to the hotel or valet parking. The valet parking is affordable at $12 for the day, so you can come and go throughout the day without paying an additional valet fee, which was very convenient. The valet staff was very nice and extremely helpful. If you don’t have cash for the tip, they do accept Cash App for tips.”

“Stayed here with our family on our way back from Disney. We put on our reservation for our suite that we had a toddler and a baby. Our kids were quietly playing and exploring the space and we got a noise complaint. The employee couldn’t tell us why or what would happen if someone called us in again, but advised we let them run around the lobby instead of our room. I don’t know how you’d expect kids to be quieter in a lobby with a lot more that they can get in to. We’ve stayed at multiple hotels and resorts on our month long trip and have never received a noise complaint before. If you expect children to be silent, don’t allow them on the reservations. If someone is coming with kids, you should place them away from others that don’t have kids with them. The room was not very clean. There were candy underwear made for adult time wedged between the mattresses. No shampoo or conditioner in the room. Stains all over the curtains and lamps. The TV didn’t work correctly. We will not be staying again and would absolutely not recommend this location for anyone traveling with kids unless you want to be made to feel like your kids need to be silent. We will be staying somewhere else when we travel through here again.”

“I stayed here while I was in town for a wedding. The staff were very friendly and professional. While you could tell the location is a bit older, there has been an apparent effort to keep it updated. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was much appreciated because toting my 4-year-old to yet another place while trying to help with a wedding in a town I hadn't been to before would have been a nightmare. The only complaint I had was they ran out of milk halfway through their breakfast hours and my daughter really wanted some with her cereal. My favorite thing about my stay was that even though it was July and about a million degrees outside, they still had a selection of hot tea in the lobby which is my favorite way to start and end my day.”
