“Best boat ramp on that side of the lake. Decent parking, shop prices for merchandise is high, but a lot of nice stuff to choose from. Never have bought gas there, not sure the prices but figure it will be high. Stayed at the campground many years back, it was nice from what I remember. Overall, a nice place.”

“This place is awesome! Shane and his crew make sure you have everything you need to have a fantastic stay! They have 2 courtesy cars for boaters to use. Bathrooms are really clean! They have both gas and diesel. Pump outs available at fuel dock or at your slip. Lots of great walking areas for you dog. They make it easy to stay forever! Love this place.”

“Stayed in the winter, very good rate due to slow season. The only thing I'd complain about was that the rooms definitely need updating. The water heaters make semi warm water but not hot water. And that sucked when it was 29°out. Heater in the room was okay at best. Location of lodge is amazing, view is great, enjoyed the restaurant. But do wish the lodge itself had more to offer in the way of things to do and nature engagement seeing as it is a nature lodge. I'll be staying again but hopefully after the news of an update to the rooms. C'mon guys. Enough people read this and are saying the same thing. It's just costing you money to not pay for the updates now. It's not 1971 anymore.”

“So I know this isn't what some people call a 5 star hotel, but in the land of "normal people" hotels this one is great. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the sheets were very nice. We had to drag ourselves out of them very reluctantly before getting back on the road. Breakfast was nice. Standard fare, but with the addition of bacon and mini omelettes. There is a pool which seems nice. We didn't partake, but still a great amenity. So honestly it's just a nice stay with good service and enforced quiet hours, so it's a win all around.”
