“We loved our first time at North of Bourbon. Our lunch was spot on. The Shrimp Poboy was truly authentic with a great baguette, crispy shrimp, dressed and delicious. The Smoked Chicken salad was very good and the Mac n Cheese hot and cheesy! The bartender was excellent and offering a special drink each day until Christmas. The favorites will find a spot on the next menu. To conclude; delicious food, great service, wonderful ambiance and a large selection of Bourbon. What more could you want?”

“Went on a Saturday just for drinks. It was small and quaint. We all liked it. Nice patio with heaters and fire pit. We will return on a night when burgers are served. Heard they were awesome!”

The Hub

“I was once a regular here several years ago and quit coming after some negative experiences with service and small crowds. This place has REALLY changed, and for the better! They've done a lot of work on the inside apparently and it looks very modern like the big city clubs you see in Chicago. The bartenders were attentive and engaging (def different from years past). The place was very clean and it was a crowd of beautiful people that showed up for a Saturday night. I enjoyed it, and it's been a while since I've been able to say that about a club in Louisville. On a side note, the atmosphere also felt safe, something you can't say about many clubs anymore either. Tip, don't arrive before 11. I got here at 10:30 and almost left because there was literally no one there. An hour later, a big difference. By midnight, it was slammed. Definitely a late crowd.”

“This place is so nice and you can tell they have really put thought and effort into their drink menu and selection. The 311 tini is delicious and our bartender is really friendly and knowledgeable”

“Awesome hotel and an excellent bar. Had my first (and probably last) 10yo Pappy experience, was amazing. When I win lotto will be back for the next tier up.”

Cafe 360

”260 succeeded this long by taking qhayever crowd shows up. When I first started going around 2005, it was very much an artsy hipster type crowd. Then around 2015, it had morphed I to this weird college jock crowd. Loud, rude white kids in polos. Went back last week and the crowd is 90% black and pretty unsavory. Drugs in the parking lot, confrontational, off-putting. I've heard the Highlands had gotten pretty rough lately with shootings in front of bars, lots and lots of car break ins, and just a ghetto vibe sweeping through. That could not have been apparent. I was uneasy in there this time. Lots of stares as one of only 2 white customers in a packed house. Very strange. But here's the good bews: the menu, which has never changed in 20 years, still delivers hard. The Kathi Rolls -- super spicy with just the right amount of pineapple to offset the heat -- have always been my fave and getting them to go, they rocked once back home. Killer bartender, quick kitchen, delicious food. If the cop parked out front and the weed smells don't turn you off, this place is fantastic. Maybe go during the day because I went around 11pm on a Saturday and was not thrilled with the vibe inside at all.”
