“The rooms and cottages are dated and worn out, but clean. If more than half of the windows weren't broken, I'd have given a better rating. The staff were great and accommodating. The lake and regional attractions are hard to beat. Had a great time on my three day stay.”

“Stayed in the winter, very good rate due to slow season. The only thing I'd complain about was that the rooms definitely need updating. The water heaters make semi warm water but not hot water. And that sucked when it was 29°out. Heater in the room was okay at best. Location of lodge is amazing, view is great, enjoyed the restaurant. But do wish the lodge itself had more to offer in the way of things to do and nature engagement seeing as it is a nature lodge. I'll be staying again but hopefully after the news of an update to the rooms. C'mon guys. Enough people read this and are saying the same thing. It's just costing you money to not pay for the updates now. It's not 1971 anymore.”

“Super quiet, cute, clean campground. We picked a walk up site that was easy to get our car but secluded and private. Trail heads at the campground and surrounding areas. The shower house was clean. There is firewood and Ice for sale on site. Would recommend.”

“Shuttle van at the airport is almost always on time to pick us up. Short distance to the hotel is a plus. Hotel staff pleasant and friendly every visit with prompt check in. Lobby, hallways and rooms are kept clean and maintained. Have all the amenities available as well as a mini-fridge and microwave in the rooms. Beds are comfortable and so are the pillows. Surrounding area does not have a lot of options when it comes to dining. Especially if going by foot. There's a gas station, Guthrie's, Subway and a Mexican restaurant across from the hotel.”

“Favorite campground on our bike trip through LBL! The bathrooms and showers were nice and clean. We had a beautiful lakeside view and the campground was quiet overnight. We did spot a little skunk visitor in the morning but it was very cute and didn't seem to bother anything!”

”The location was in a great area. We are Hilton honors members and visit locations often. The room was flawless and updated, very comfortable for myself, fiance, and dog... The shower was amazing!!! Outside has an area for your dog and bags for after they do their business. Staff was friendly and accommodating!!!”

”Overall this was a nice place to stay. However, do not expect anything super nice. The bathroom was very small, which wasn't a big deal-except there really wasn't anywhere for us to hang our towels. The faucet leaked when turned on all the way. The shower would randomly get EXTREMELY hot, and the drain was super small so the tub kept getting backed up while you were standing in it. Breakfast was included with the stay, but it wasn't nothing to brag about. There wasn't any real food to be had, other than a few pieces of fruit. Husband & son had waffles, I took a bite... They were like eating balloons. The eggs I had didn't taste good and had a very weird texture. But! Even with the bad breakfast and the bathroom problems, we enjoyed our stay. We needed a place to shower after camping for a few days and we were able to walk in here and get a room right away. The girls at the front desk were awesome to talk to, very very kind people! The building is really pretty, and it's situated in an interesting spot. For a nights stay we were happy. If you just need somewhere to stay I do recommend staying here, just don't expect anything fancy!”

”The cabins we stayed at were new and very nice. There are no towels, toilet paper, linens, or pillows. It’s on the website, but no mention of this on the Facebook page. The showers were warm at best…. The sinks were hot. There is a tv, but no access to anything to watch. The internet/phone service is terrible. We received no confirmation of our stay via email (they said because they’re in a gulch). How did you take payment if there is no service? Overall it was a nice place to stay while our son was at the JROTC competition, but we’d be better prepared next time.”
