There are parking lots spaced throughout, making it convenient to get in and get to relaxing quickly. There is a HUGE open lawn with a trail around it. It's perfect for just about anything from laying out, playing catch, flying kites, having a picnic, and so much more. There's sooooooo much room. If you like having wife open spaces and access to some other park amenities, the Parklands is perfect.”

“Great space; there's a paved path around the reservoir where folks fish, but there's also a huge grass and gravel nature trail that goes around the surrounding area. There are some dirt trails that branch off of that, but they either stop or loop back. There's a playground and a ballfield as well. Seems to be a popular spot for family events.”

The view from the lookout point by the white pavilion overlooks a river and faces west. We watched the sunset there a bit, but it was cold so we left a bit early.”

”Dogs are allowed! Such a minor detail but we love that. The tree, twig people was such a unique feature to the park. We went over the Labor Day weekend and it was nice. Not jam packed with people. The beach was very small, no glass or alcohol allowed. Was a fun day trip overall.”
