“Best boat ramp on that side of the lake. Decent parking, shop prices for merchandise is high, but a lot of nice stuff to choose from. Never have bought gas there, not sure the prices but figure it will be high. Stayed at the campground many years back, it was nice from what I remember. Overall, a nice place.”

“Excellent campground well located. Bathrooms are extremely clean and modern with nice showers bonus great music! The exterior of the building housing the bathrooms laundry and game room is well lit. Laundry is open 24 seven and only a buck 50 a load and it is by far the cleanest laundry room and slop sink I have ever encountered in over a year full-time. These owners are considerate enough to mow a walking path to the local McDonald’s and Cracker Barrel. The game room has a pool table and a sitting area. We were there off-season, but the pool looks fabulous. Did I mention they pick up your trash at your site? Just set your garbage bag out in the morning! Newly installed Pickleball courts which we did not get a chance to try out. Friendly owners. Great location. We will be back again.”

“We just visited our son, daughter-in-law and their family when they were camping. I grew up camping here every summer when I was a kid. A lot of new things have been added from back in the 60's - 70's but even though they were full it was nice and quiet while we sat outside and ate around the campfire in T Section.”

“Great campsites off the beaten path! We stayed for two nights during the week and were the people in our loop. Check in was super easy and the people we encountered were very nice. Firewood and ice were available to buy until 4pm. The showers and bathrooms were full of bugs but the water was warm and refreshing after swimming! We found some good shaded spots at the beach and good trees to set up a hammock. Besides the ticks, we really enjoyed our time! We have Verizon phones and had one bar at the site, a couple more at the beach. Do note there’s not a good town for supplies closer than 30 minutes. Our friends had some critter visitors get into a peanut butter container, dog food and even natural oatmeal soap, so definitely put everything away if you leave the site!”

“Super quiet, cute, clean campground. We picked a walk up site that was easy to get our car but secluded and private. Trail heads at the campground and surrounding areas. The shower house was clean. There is firewood and Ice for sale on site. Would recommend.”

”Favorite campground on our bike trip through LBL! The bathrooms and showers were nice and clean. We had a beautiful lakeside view and the campground was quiet overnight. We did spot a little skunk visitor in the morning but it was very cute and didn't seem to bother anything!”

”The cabins we stayed at were new and very nice. There are no towels, toilet paper, linens, or pillows. It’s on the website, but no mention of this on the Facebook page. The showers were warm at best…. The sinks were hot. There is a tv, but no access to anything to watch. The internet/phone service is terrible. We received no confirmation of our stay via email (they said because they’re in a gulch). How did you take payment if there is no service? Overall it was a nice place to stay while our son was at the JROTC competition, but we’d be better prepared next time.”
