“Perfect! We stayed one night the first week of January. It's right off I75 and reasonably priced. We were passing through on our way from Florida to Michigan. The hotel is newly remodeled and very clean. The color palette is very calming. There is tasteful local photography on the walls. The beds are comfortable and our room had a cozy armchair in it, as well as a desk and mini fridge. The breakfast room is large and the selections are thoughtfully prepared. We've been on the road two weeks and this is the best breakfast we've had. There's also a 24 hour coffee station outside the dining area. And they are pet friendly! I strongly recommend this hotel and I'm certain we will be back.”

“Stayed here again from January 12th to the 15th. We started staying here last year as it is close to grandkids. This is a nice hotel. The staff are friendly. The rooms are quiet. We even started to use the pool. We stay at quite a few Hilton hotels and this is definitely one of their best. It is a clean, well run establishment. We will be back again in March.”

“This has been the best hotel I have found in the area with a 30 minute radius in either direction. I will be staying here in the future. Even if it is dated it is by far better than all other choices. Believe it is set for a remodel of some sort this month or next to begin. If they are already doing so you couldn’t tell- wasn’t disturbing business as usual. I didn’t eat breakfast so I don’t have any review there. The internet worked great. The rooms were clean. The front desk staff were very nice. I didn’t experience any issues with my two night stay. Parking wasn’t an issue but is in a parking garage right outside the entrance. This is located downtown near the college with a lot of college students commuting. I could occasionally hear noise from individuals walking outside on the sidewalks but nothing that bothered or created a disturbance for myself. I would recommend and will be staying again in the future.”

I started to wonder when the hotel doors have double locking doors and when I saw homeless people EVERYWHERE! I would certainly stay here again but Would NOT advise anyone to walk by themselves or without protection. A group would be totally fine. It just stinks that I can’t take a nice walk without constantly watching over my shoulder.”

”My sister, niece and I stayed here two nights while visiting family in the area. Everytime I came through the lobby the employees were working very hard cleaning something - mopping the floor, cleaning the elevator, etc. I actually told the lady at check out that I don't think I've ever stayed in a hotel and seen so much cleaning going on. Free breakfast was nice, beds were comfy and I really need some of those pillows for my house! Unfortunately, we were too busy to try the pool or fitness area but both areas looked clean and welcoming.”

”It’s been a good stay. Clean rooms, really nice breakfast - hot, fresh, and well stocked. Front desk was helpful and professional. Location was good- easy in and out from highway. Plenty of parking- well lit. We got the 2 bed suite with sofa area- BEST PART of our stay- spacious for our stay of 6. Plus fridge and microwave. Yes- it could use a bit of updated and there is average wear and tear on furniture but it was CLEAN and good PRICE. We got a good nights sleep with a delicious breakfast and back on the road.”

”Hotel could be really nice but little annoyances completely ruin the experience. Went to enjoy the hot tub and couldn't get throught the door because the card reader doesn't work right and then the hot tub was cold. Attendant reset it but it wasn't hot until the next morning but again I couldn't get in and had to have attendant let me in. The tub was hot but the jets wouldn't turn on. Then I went back to my room and my door card reader didn't work eliciting another trip down to the lobby from the fourth floor! They made a new card and I still had trouble getting in but after 10 tries it finally worked. Went downstairs about 10pm for a snack, was going to purchase some frozen foods from the pantry but the attendant was nowhere to be found with a sign on the counter saying they were "helping a guest". I waited for 10 minutes and was forced to write a note saying what I took and to bill it to my room and set it on the desk keyboard because I was hungry and wasn't going to wait around. The rooms look to be updated but the walls and carpet are worn and the toilet runs all night unless you jiggle the handle. Beds are comfortable. Only good thing about the place is the breakfast, it was top notch. Would never stay here again”

Breakfast was good and before dawn the lobby was a nice place to read. The staff were polite and helpful, but not that professional or attentive. When walking up to the desk we often needed to get their attention. Overall, it's a hotel. You could sleep here if you're not too temperature sensitive. Its just not a very nice one, nor a good deal for the price. There are much better hotels in the area around the same price point.”

”Our stay was very nice! The room was nice, although we had a metal bed and it didn't seem as sturdy as what a wooden bed would've been. The grounds look nicely maintained. Day shift staff was nice, but seemed a little shy. Night shift staff were wonderful. Room was clean. We liked that it didn't have carpet, and the little rubber ducky on the tub was a cute and nice touch! Room had a nice sized fridge, and microwave, and the tub was huge! Nice room for the price and it's right on the river. The terrace overlooking the river was beautiful. We enjoyed our stay and are planning to return in a few weeks. Hotel was in nice walking distance to downtown shops and diners! Overall, wonderful experience!”
