“We enjoyed staying at the hotel. The location was wonderful, as we walked to dinner each night at two excellent restaurants. However, it would be nice if you didn't have to ask for ice to be sent to your room - with a tip probably expected - and there is only one small shelf available in the mini-bar refrigerator. All of this made it difficult for us to travel with perishable food during the holiday season.”

“We chose this place because it is pet friendly, and we were traveling with our large dog. We were pleasantly surprised with just how nice the place is. Back entrance to the parking lot makes it easy to take your pet for a walk. It is in very nice area and a short walk to Cracker Barrel, although the free breakfast at the hotel was really well done. The room was huge and very nice. A super good value and the place looks brand new. Better than the average Hampton.”

”Pros: Very close to the heart downtown and most things are in walking distance Excellent customer service by the Employees Fresh breakfast and hot ☕️ Reasonably priced Rooms sparkling clean and in working order Safety measures Cons: apparently this hotel is not in a great area of town. I started to wonder when the hotel doors have double locking doors and when I saw homeless people EVERYWHERE! I would certainly stay here again but Would NOT advise anyone to walk by themselves or without protection. A group would be totally fine. It just stinks that I can’t take a nice walk without constantly watching over my shoulder.”

”What a great hotel to stay in for the night! The rooms were immaculate and the staff was friendly. I can't comment on the breakfast, because I didn't have any the morning I left, nor can I comment on their other amenities. It was a business trip, so I really stayed in my room on the computer. I can the Wi-Fi was excellent for the second floor, though. I rated four stars for the room because the chair seemed a little dated and used a lot; however, it really wasn't that bad and this isn't a complaint.”

”Got there really late and left super early but the rooms were very clean and exactly what they advertised. My son took the pullout couch and my daughters took a double bed while my husband and I took the other double bed. Breakfast was set up a bit early which was AWESOME because we were leaving at 615am and thought we'd miss it. Shower had everything we needed and bonus for next time Publix is opening in almost the same parking lot, walking distance for sure, on January 11, 2024!!!”

”My best friend and I came to Louisville for a 3 night stay to celebrate our birthdays together. Our room was clean and had a great kitchen setup. We couldn't get a 2 queen room, but fortunately, the sofa was a pull out bed. This is a budget friendly hotel and within walking distance or easy driving to many things we wanted to see and do. We were pleased that a room card was required to get into the lobby from the street. Only had the complimentary breakfast once. Seemed like a good amount of options and the breakfast sandwich I had was basic but tasty. Our shower was out of the body wash, but we had our own on this trip. Also, exhaust fans in the bathroom are always a positive. Other than these minor troubles, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. It's not fancy, but it's in the Hilton family and suited out needs perfectly on this trip”

”This hotel is located in a great spot and is conveniently located to downtown Louisville and other local venues. There is a free shuttle that will take you within 3 mi of the hotel as well as to and from the airport should you need it. There is a full breakfast every single morning and Mindy, the weekday girl is fantastic. She is super friendly and definitely goes the extra mile to make sure that you have a good meal to start your day. There is laundry on site as well as a very large lounge area at the main entrance of the hotel. There's a fireplace and a big screen TV and plenty of areas to sit and relax or work if that's what you have to do. The gym is well appointed and very clean. There is also an outside grilling area with a built-in grill and adequate seating. The room that I stayed in was quite spacious and while the bed was a little bit small for my tastes, it was incredibly comfortable. The extra bonus that I really enjoyed for this room was that it has a full stove / oven versus just a cooktop like many other Residence Inns have. As with all the properties, each kitchenette area is fully appointed with silverware, pots pans and cooking utensils as well as a full size dishwasher and garbage disposal. These are all must haves if you are staying long-term . From what I understand there are only a few rooms at this property that have full oven/stoves, so if this is something you need, trying to arrange it well ahead of your stay The bathroom is a bit small, but that's really not a big deal. The closet space is adequate and there are plenty of dressers and areas to store your personal belongings. I especially like how the TV swivels 180 degrees so you can face it towards the bed or turn it towards the desk or sofa. While there are many positives there were a few negative takeaways. Parking can be great or it can be horrible depending on what is going on in a local area. The Kentucky exposition center is just down the street, along with Univ. of Louisville. Events and sports season means packed hotels, which means limited parking. Dust- I don't think that there's anything that the hotel can do specifically other than preventative maintenance. I noticed that dust would build up incredibly fast to the point where I was wiping down all of my surfaces every single day. When I first arrived and noticed this, I mentioned it to the front desk and asked that they check my filters on the AC unit. There was a heavy accumulation of dust on the door jamb to the in room AC unit, which is locked. I assumed that somebody from maintenance addressed this issue because the next day it appeared that the door jamb had been wiped down and was clean. Regardless, I don't know if it's the area but if you stay long term you will see dust build up. Wi-Fi/Internet- The property claims that they have hi-speed Wi-Fi and I even saw something about gigabit, but this is simply not the case. On a good day, I was seeing 7-8 Mbps at best. Some days, it seemed as if it couldn't get over 2-3Mbps. To top it off, there is no hard wired internet; or ethernet ports in the room that work. Laundry- I stayed in the main building and there is only one laundry room with four washers and four dryers. These units are commercial grade but they are very small. Also welcome back to the '80s because they are coin operated. Each load costs $1.50, same for the dryer. While the washers do a good enough job there is only one dryer, the one on the left, that will completely dry your clothes in one cycle. So if that dryer is not available, plan on spending at least $3 to dry one load. Something for management to push up to Marriott, I think that laundry should either be free or less expensive than it is. At that, I feel that once you are platinum or higher, laundry should definitely be a perk, especially for a longer than a few weeks. One last thing... Room 301 vibrates regularly. Weird. I spend over 3/4's of the year in hotels and I pick Marriot when at all possible. This location will definitely be a top pick next time I'm in the area.”

”Customer service says everything about a company and its employees and they have roaches 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾 First of all THEY DO NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONE. I have been a on time paying guest for almost a month now at the Louisville location on Preston Hwy. I started out paying day by day and after about a week of paying I talked to 2 different people at the front desk about the price difference between day, weekly and monthly rates. I was going to pay for a month but was further explained that weekly rate would be better option because of discounts and and special rates. So what do I do??? Pay for a week. The week pass and I go down to pay for my next week. Front desk eventually tells me that they can not give me a week they can only give me 5 days because my room was booked for next week😡😡. Even though I have been paying for the same room for almost a month. Wait? What❓⁉️ So of course I asked about the discounts and and everything else that I was suppose to get for paying a weekly rate. He did not have any solution to that. Not only was the front desk clerk(a white male) rude to me and had absolutely no intention on getting the situation resolved. He was even rude over the phone to the supervisor manager in reservations(Cindy). She was very surprised to the point she was going to escalate his rude demeanor to her higher up. Not to mention several rooms at this property are being occupied with employees that work at the front desk and guest that live here for FREE because of “special programs” they are in. AND A PAYING CUSTOMER LIKE MYSELF IS GETTING DISPLACED BECAUSE MY ROOM WAS BOOKED. BEING A VALUABLE PAYING CUSTOMER DO NOT MEAN ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO THIS COMPANY. Do not waste your money or time expecting good customer service or support because YOU WILL NOT GET IT.”
