“After a night at Foxwoods, I *highly* recommend checking out this pizza food truck nearby. It was around a 10 min drive from the Foxwoods/Mohegan sun area. We came with high expectations due to the hot reviews, and boy were they met!! Having tried the staples of New Haven, we felt we knew what amazing pizza could taste like. We absolutely loved all the pizza options, especially The Fresco! Everything seemed homemade, from scratch, and a lot of love put into it. This spot deserves all the high praise, so check them out!”

“First time here, and it 👏🏼 is 👏🏼 amazing!!! It’s a Family business (which I appreciate). Staff is very attentive, with great recommendations. Pizza is so fresh. Mussels and dessert … I just don’t know what else to say. They earned my business and i will most likely return. Also, I didn’t realize how generous their portion sizes are (my waiter warned me but i ignored him) so I ended up with way too much food/leftovers— not complaining though. I would’ve cleaned my plate if I was physically capable”

“We were there for a wedding. Everything thing was excellent. The building was so cool the way they converted it to this amazing facility.The beers were also delicious I forgot the names but their hazy double IPA was great. They also had a stocked bar for drinks. Service was incredible everyone had a smile from the bartenders to the servers. I would definitely recommend stopping in for drinks or consider for a bigger event.”

Closest thing to a New Haven style pizza that is available in Hartford county. Crispy, chewy, and soft - all of the right things with a perfect amount of sauce and high quality toppings. Close to perfection, and consistently near it. Also will say that Little City is bounds better than the newly mediocre New Haven clam pizza chain that's overhyped and full of itself. No need to leave Hartford area for an amazing pizza! I suggest dine-in for absolute perfection. If ordering takeout, pick it up yourself. This is not the pizza you want to disrespect by letting it get stone cold on a counter. It's good enough to be handled with care. ”After doing a pedal cruise in Harbor Point, we walked over to Fortina for lunch. We decided to dine on the rooftop, also known as the Fortina Yacht Club. It was a beautiful day, and the chill vibe and view were really nice. The yacht club had a separate menu from downstairs, but we were glad that we were still able to order from the kitchen menu if we wanted to. Since it was our first time, we definitely had to try one of their pizzas and an order of wings, which was brought up takeout style. It worked for the pizza (which had perfectly crispy pepperoni by the way!), but the wings unfortunately seemed like they had been sitting in the takeout container for a while, so they weren’t at their peak. Everything else was delicious - the grilled cheese, burger, and french onion dip were great casual foods for hanging out on the rooftop. Everything came out quickly, and the staff was nice. I definitely would be curious to explore more options on the kitchen’s menu next time, because I saw some pretty good looking options!”

”Trying takeout for a third time late July 2022, the most well received item was the calzone with cheese and sausage. A repeat of the buffalo chicken grinder was still good. The meatball grinder was a pass. Anytime a meatball grinder does not have actual meatballs but slices of a meat loaf instead, is not something I'd reorder. Still, if in the area and familiar with the menu, there is something to buy that's worth the money. # A second dinner here since they are open on Mondays and we thought we'd try something else from their menu. The lasagna did not have any meat - good for vegetarians! - as well as most pasta dishes. I just had spaghetti and meatballs the night before, so we decided to try two grinders. The buffalo chicken was packed with tender meat that had just the right amount of heat. Definitely worth ordering again. The ham did not have much meat in comparison, though in all fairness, I've noted most of the pizza places we frequent have cut down on the amount of ham they used to put into this grinder. Polite staff. # Living in the area for over 15 years, hungry and not wanting to drive far, I finally had ABC pizza. The restaurant is a casual place. Great for low key diners. Ordering red wine while we waited, it was appropriately chilled. Too many establishments think red wine should be served room temperature and just leave the bottles on the counter. We wanted the bone-in chicken wings but they were sold out. Settling for the boneless ones, they were flat, lightly fried, seasoned and tender. Nice. The ranch or blue cheese dressing on the side was thin. Our meat lovers pizza with hamburger, pepperoni, sausage and bacon had generous toppings that along with the sauce were all well seasoned. The dough was odd. It seemed to be in some preformed mold. Totally tasteless with no blistering, char or visible handmade shape. ABC has pasta dinner items, too. A neighboring table had lasagna or something similar that looked good, and it came with salad. I can't comment on their grinders, not having tried one. This is another place where it would be helpful to know the menu. Rating: 3.8”

The atmosphere was perfect - unfussy but comfortable and sweet, striking a great balance between checkered tablecloth Italian and linen tablecloth Italian. ”Super displeased for a 3rd time, last chance they'll get. $24 for a chef salad and a soup is overpriced but comparable to other places in town. That price means everything should be done right and taste great. They put my soup in a plastic grocery bag with the salad. Their paper soup containers have a weak cover so of course it popped off easily and spilled all over the salad. It ruins the whole meal when you have to clean it all up before you can eat it. And so much for most of the soup. Tomato basil, had plenty of tomato skins in it. Once before they gave me a $20 credit for giving me an order that someone with a similar phone number regularly gets. I paid over $20 for it and I couldn't eat any of it. I've heard good things about them from a couple people but they're 0 for 3 with me. I have only ordered pickup after 5pm.”
