“After a night at Foxwoods, I *highly* recommend checking out this pizza food truck nearby. It was around a 10 min drive from the Foxwoods/Mohegan sun area. We came with high expectations due to the hot reviews, and boy were they met!! Having tried the staples of New Haven, we felt we knew what amazing pizza could taste like. We absolutely loved all the pizza options, especially The Fresco! Everything seemed homemade, from scratch, and a lot of love put into it. This spot deserves all the high praise, so check them out!”

The food was perfectly cooked, tasty and fresh. The portions were huge. I didn't take pics of the salad or bread but we devoured them. Delish espresso martini. We had so much food to bring home that we also got dessert to go 😋 So worth the trip and close to the outlets 😉”

“I been here a few times and first time having bad service. The food is always amazing, but the service is such hit or miss. The food is delicious. Appetizers of lamb lollipops, escargot, burrata salad, and sashimi tuna were all amazing. Lamb was juicy. There were way more escargot than other restaurants I've had it. The burrata salad is classic. And the sashimi tuna was surprisingly good. Entrees had a NY strip with roasted potatoes and broccoli. I like how the veggies are overcooked. The steak was cooked to perfection and a beautiful hefty size for the price. Great value. However... service was awful. Got seated and took 15 mins to get menu. I already knew what to order but the waitress didn't ask and walked off after giving menus. Never came once during meal. Came after meal was over and provided check. Took 15 mins to come back and get our card. It was all fine up until now. It was holidays so we were understanding. BUT after our credit card was taken, it took 30 mins for us to get it back. Another lady brought it back to us and said our waitress got caught up at the bar. We said we've been waiting and ready to leave for over half an hour already. Finally we're leaving..... then the original waitress stopped my bf and I, which then she made a comment sarcastically saying she's sorry but she had other tables she's in charge of and we're not the only people dining. Seriously 🙄 it was so unnecessary. Her stopping us to not even apologize but make a stupid comment was what made the service bad.”

Mussels and dessert … I just don’t know what else to say. They earned my business and i will most likely return. ”I found this restaurant on Google. It was easy to access from the interstate. What a gem! From the hosts to the managers, all the team members, and diners, this felt seriously like Cheers. When I mentioned this to the woman who took care of me in the lounge, she said indeed it feels like an Italian Cheers. She's so right. The people working at the bar knew everyone's names. It was such a lovely, warm, welcoming feeling. So much joy at diners greeting those they were meeting and friends they just ran into. Great place. Definitely recommend Denovellis as a stop or a destination unto itself.”

Closest thing to a New Haven style pizza that is available in Hartford county. Crispy, chewy, and soft - all of the right things with a perfect amount of sauce and high quality toppings. Close to perfection, and consistently near it. Also will say that Little City is bounds better than the newly mediocre New Haven clam pizza chain that's overhyped and full of itself. No need to leave Hartford area for an amazing pizza! I suggest dine-in for absolute perfection. If ordering takeout, pick it up yourself. This is not the pizza you want to disrespect by letting it get stone cold on a counter. It's good enough to be handled with care. Salad had large onion rings and lots of black olives - not listed on the menu (yes, I'm being nit picky, but since I don't like either on my salads, it would have been nice to know to ask to have them held back for my order). Jalapeño cheddar bread went fantastic with the Chipotle sauce toasted. I ditched the lettuce, tomato, and cheese, because I like cooked onions and raw green peppers for taste* Will be traveling back in town soon to try this again, but with raw onion this time. So SOO good. I ate around 4pm and I was full all night. Went to bed early and woke up feeling great. The high quality seafood is much appreciated. Was a very nice surprise. ”We used to visit the Sliders in Plantsville allll the time in high school, but once we graduated and went to college we didn’t get to come as often. We took a walk down memory lane and came back, and they are killing it! There’s several new wing flavors and menu items that caught our eye, and everything we had was fantastic! The nachos were especially great - we always appreciate when there’s plenty of toppings and layers of it with no bare chips. Sandwiches, wings, and drinks were all great! They were doing trivia when we were there too. Everything was clean and it was a nice vibe. This visit really reminded us why we always loved Sliders, and we’ll definitely be adding it back into our rotation of local places!”

”Had to give them a 5 in all areas! I live in town, I've been there twice and service was on point. 1st time with my husband, 2nd time with girlfriends and great service continued. I was very impressed with my "surprise me" drink that's on the drink me. You tell them what you like and the bartender surprises you with a drink they made. They nailed it! A couple next to me complimented the look of the drink, rum, mango, etc and the taste was all there. This time around I had the pork belly.. yum. Great place to go, bring your family, friends and/or your partner.”
