Courtyard By Marriott Hartford Cromwell

4 Sebethe Dr, Cromwell, CT 06416, United States

“My husband and I stayed at this hotel from December 28, 29 2023. The front desk staff was nice, knowledgeable and helpful. As we're the restaurant staff. I liked the location. It has a restaurant inside the hotel and a Chili's restaurant right next door. The room was not really to my liking because there was a smell upon entering the room and the water pressure from the shower head was horrible and trying to turn the water on in the tub area was a struggle. I would've ask for another room but I was so frustrated from our luggage being sent to another state....I just dealt with the hotel issues. And it is a 3 star hotel not a 4 or 5 star.... And I'm sure if I had asked I would've been given another room because again the staff on both shift were very nice! I wouldn't mind staying here again if I were to visit that part of Connecticut.”

“We had to book a room because we lost electricity at our house. The woman at the front desk was extremely kind and understanding. She made sure we had toiletries we needed and gave us a quiet room. We really appreciate the excellent service during a stressful time. Highly recommend.”

Cozy Hills Campground

1311 Bantam Rd, Bantam, CT 06750, United States

“This is an excellent campground. Ample RV site space, great scenic views, very family oriented, impeccable service overall. The site manager, TJ, is amazing to work with. His knowledge of all camping (RV) needs or concerns is well above average. TJ has made my stay extremely comfortable and very welcomed. I stayed at Cozy Hills for about 3 months. I would return to this site if I were back in the Bantam area again.”

Courtyard By Marriott New Haven Orange/milford

136 Marsh Hill Rd, Orange, CT 06477, United States

“I checked in, surveyed the bathroom and bedroom, and immediately canceled my reservation. The bathroom shower was growing mold all throughout the corners of the shower stall. Upon checking the mattress for bed bugs I found that the mattress itself was stained numerous shades of yellow and red. The room was dingy and dark with wooden furniture that looks like it has taken a beating. On top of that my room definitely smelled like someone had smoked in it.”

Winvian
4.6
( 16 reviews )

155 Alain White Rd, Morris, CT 06763, United States

“As a wedding photographer, I recently had the privilege of working at Winvian, and I couldn't be more thrilled with the experience. The natural beauty of this venue is a photographer's dream. With beautiful grounds and large property with loads of backdrops, it made it easy to capture beautiful photos. The staff at Winvian were professional and accommodating, ensuring a seamless schedule and a hassle-free experience. The attention to detail, from well-kept grounds to beautiful decorations, made my job easier and the photos even more stunning. They offered flexibility with both indoor and outdoor spaces for ceremonies and receptions, allowing couples to realize their vision and e ready for any type of change in the weather, which we experienced. Would love to return!”

Maron Hotel & Suites
3.8

42 Lake Ave Ext, Danbury, CT 06811, United States

”Let me preface by saying the hotel was in a very convenient location in Danbury, right between exit 3 and 4. Also, it was the least expensive nightly rate in the entire area from Stamford on down. It was at least $60 less than any other hotel I could find, plus it had free parking. If it were not for the price I would have rated it at 3 stars. However, considering the low price I think I must rate it at four because it was certainly not something you need to steer away from. The negatives were as follows: . Difficult to locate if you don't know what you are looking for. It's wedged between a bank and a UPS store, so keep that in mind when you are thinking you are in the wrong place 🙂. . Because it is wedged in between two other businesses your room will be facing a courtyard and possibly not have an outdoor window. We don't mind having the indoor courtyard window, however there was loud music playing in the lobby and it was disturbing us up till about 10:00 p.m. I'd guess. . The breakfast was not really something you would look forward to. Simply very small plastic wrapped bagels with packaged cream cheese and jelly, along with not very hot coffee. There were also fresh oranges and apples, which were nice to have. That was it for the food. We ended up going to stop& shop next door, plus the coffee shop across the street, which was excellent. . I don't care for elevators so when taking the stairwell downstairs I found it to be fairly unkempt, needing cleaning and sweeping. Plus, when exiting the stairwell on the main level you have to go through an area that is clearly not meant for guests because it is filled with extra chairs and whatnot. The positives were as follows: . The price, free parking, convenient location. . The gentleman at check-in was very nice and pleasant. . The bed was very comfortable, although a king size bed should have more than three pillows in our world, but I'm sure we could have gotten more if we had asked. . The room was immaculate. . The DirecTV channels were good and adequate. . The bed was quite comfortable. .”

Bel-air Manor

256 New Britain Ave, Newington, CT 06111, United States

”Everyone at Bel Air from the nursing staff to the physical therapists, patient technicians and everyone in between are angels who work here. The level of care given is truly remarkable. They are on top of everything. From the moment my family member arrived, the head of each department was there to introduce themselves to learn her likes and dislikes, they went over the services their department provided. It is such a relief to be able to say I trust that my loved one is in good hands. To have a loved one need to go to rehab is extremely stressful and I am so glad we chose Bel Air. This is the second time my family member has used this facility and while I hope she doesn’t have to go back, I know is she does, Bel Air is our first choice.”
