“There is a little parking lot but only couple spots and they’re usually taken. But found a spot outside fairly quickly. There are no reservations. So we came as a party of 3 and inside wait time was 2 hours. To sit outside was 1 hour but there are a ton of mosquitoes outside. Was a nice day so we sat outside. The service was amazing the server had knowledge about the menu and was very personable. She gave really good recommendations and the portions were a good amount. I loved the mussels they had so much flavor. Pasta and sauce was very flavorful. This place was highly recommended and I can see why. I would definitely be back”

“Really disappointed in this purchase. We ventured out of our area for a nice change. We chose them based on the great reviews but we definitely can’t say the same. The chicken cutlets are frozen patties, the “Deluxe” combo was anything but deluxe, maybe 5 pieces of meat and no pickles as ordered. I’d hate to see what the regular combo looks like. The best part of our order was the store bought coleslaw and tortellini salad, $4.99 each for 6oz of product in an 8oz container. One reviewer said it’s the best deli in New Haven county.....that’s not saying much for new Haven deli’s. Do yourselves a favor and go up to Carbone’s so you see what an actual deli is. Next time we’ll just stick to Goldie’s right down the street and save the $75. Sorry guys.”

”We were seated fairly quickly for breakfast. No reservations. The first thing I noticed was how ungodly hot it was inside. There are glass windows, like floor to ceiling on the one side of the room in which the sun is facing. The whole room became like a terrarium, and we were just some reptiles waiting to die. The hostess also said the heat was unbearable, so I know I'm not being too dramatic. Service was slow. The waiter didn't come around for about 15 min to ask for drinks. Food was barely edible. The home fries must have been made in bulk and just sat around. They were hard as a rock. I'm pretty sure the omelet was made with egg beaters as it tasted terrible and was rubbery. The whole experience was mind-boggling bad. Considering how big Foxwoods is, I expected more.”

The man at the counter stated that they use brown sauce. We wait just under 10 minutes to get our food. The restaurant appeared to be clean, but you are not allowed to eat here. There was not anyone else waiting for food when we arrived. Got home, opened the bag! It’s literally chicken and broccoli NO sauce! I’m not gonna say it was dry, but it was more dry than moist! The sauce woulda help. We called the restaurant and the person who answered the phone said they don’t really use a lot of sauce. There’s a difference between a lot of sauce and none, there was no sauce, except what it may have been cooked in. The man also said, next time tell him we want sauce. I order this every time i order Chinese, and I never had this not come with sauce. And i personally think if you ask about sauce, them not putting any in the dish should have been mentioned!”

”Capitol Lunch in New Britain perfects the art of keeping it simple. Fantastic food and fantastic service. Parking is easy on the street or in parking lot across the street. Once inside you step back in time to a luncheonette type of feel. Service is super friendly and everyone feels welcome. Hot dogs have a nice snap to them. The "famous" dog with mustard, onions and sauce is a great tasting combination. Fries and onion rings are cooked perfectly also.
