“We had an awesome experience. Sat at the bar, had an awesome server. Jennifer was attentive, gave the best recommendations and made our experience fun. The food was perfectly cooked, tasty and fresh. The portions were huge. I didn't take pics of the salad or bread but we devoured them. Delish espresso martini. We had so much food to bring home that we also got dessert to go 😋 So worth the trip and close to the outlets 😉”

“Lobster rolls are only available during lunch. There is generally plenty of people here. Try to make a reservation, they have limited walk-in tables. They do valet, it’s hard to get a spot around this area unless you live nearby. Food is generally good. Roasted Oysters were excellent!”

“4.5. Great neighbourhood pub with good vibes and good food. The wings were the highlight- definitely order them. They were crispy and saucy and cooked well. Also ordered some burgers- you can get any burger with Beyond Meat (great for vegetarians) and also as a “skinny” in lettuce and with a side of vegetables. Next time I’ll ask for no A-1 sauce - personal preference but read about the sauces they add because they will be all over the burger so make sure you like them. The Cajun fries are also great! Server was friendly and checked-in. Lots of other food options on the menu - very accessible for vegetarians. There is patio seating and a big back room as well. Three different sports were playing on the television screens- so definitely something for everyone. Good selection of beers!”

”Bill's has been an area favorite for years. What once used to stand with the likes of Jason's restaurant, PJ's Donuts later PJ's diner and more recently Main St. Grille as one of many options for your breakfast enjoyment has found itself standing tall long after others have fallen. While not the only breakfast place in town, Bill's has a name and brand of products (English muffins and the homemade corned beef hash come to mind.) That continue to resonate with us locals. While this most recent trip was a first for me in quite some time the food was the same quality I expected from previous visits. My party picked up 2 steak and egg meals with rye toast and an order of 2 french toast with a side of bacon. The steaks both came at the proper temp ordered, the eggs were perfectly over easy and the home fries were as wonderful as I remember being seasoned enough to not be bland but mild enough for a customer to salt and pepper to suit. The waitress was wonderful, while I sadly forget what her name was, I will tell you she was warm and attentive. My shy daughter ordered her food a bit slower and got flustered when she couldn't remember how she likes her food. She also asked for extra rye toast later, and the waitress never seemed put out or irritated at the less than confident interaction that my daughter engaged with. The price was about what one would expect. I'm sure there are places that cost less and there are definitely places that cost more, but the prices should not be considered a deterrent. The food is fresh, many items are made in house and day of, these prices merely reflect the quality and time put into the food offered. Over all a 4.5 star experience. I couldn't speak to what would make it 5 star, which I understand can be frustrating for those looking for areas to improve, but I would imagine it would be smaller frivolous things that were more attune to individual preferences”

”This place caught my eye because of the menu options, grinders, seafood, chicken, hot dogs, burgers, etc.. and the reasonable prices. I got a 1/2 Buffalo chicken grinder. The grinder roll was toasted on the grill perfectly, fried Buffalo chicken tenders with shredded lettuce, onions, ranch, provolone cheese. Very satisfying and big. Lots of choice, a lively crew, and great prices. Stop in and see for yourself. I thinking you'll enjoy yourself and have a very satisfying meal. Don't expect all the bells and whistles, expect satisfaction for sure at the Ranch House.”

”Hungry? So were we. We had passed this place a few times on our way to fish the Farmington, and finally decided to stop. SO glad we did. Classic American food. We loved that it felt like we stepped back in time when we walked through the front door. The menu for lunch had so many great options that we were excited to eat there as soon as we read it. The cheese pull on the mozzarella sticks was epic. My mozz stick loving fiancé was so stoked. He said the burger was amazing, also. I got the beer battered fish sandwich, which was fried to astonishing perfection. The crunch was still there even when I spread tartar sauce on it. Their French onion soup was delightful, as well. I love picking the cheese off of the crock, and it was just the right amount. This is our new favorite spot to eat when we go fishing. Love finding places like this!”

”This is a holiday treat for a Rhode Island girl. Lobster Chipotle Sub, large, is like 4 pieces of lobster topped toast when eaten open face. Jalapeño cheddar bread went fantastic with the Chipotle sauce toasted. I ditched the lettuce, tomato, and cheese, because I like cooked onions and raw green peppers for taste* Will be traveling back in town soon to try this again, but with raw onion this time. So SOO good. I ate around 4pm and I was full all night. Went to bed early and woke up feeling great. The high quality seafood is much appreciated. Was a very nice surprise. I believe this is the last Quiznos standing in CT, and it sure is a gem. Thank you 😊 💓”

Two of my friends had fries with their lunch and they were very brown and overdone. I had coconut shrimp but was very disappointed… very overcooked… dark brown… tasted like burnt coconut with no shrimp flavor. They were very hard and dry. Might try this place again if in the area, but wouldn’t get the same. $75 before tip for 3 lunches and only water to drink/no dessert… pricey for overcooked food.”

”We used to visit the Sliders in Plantsville allll the time in high school, but once we graduated and went to college we didn’t get to come as often. We took a walk down memory lane and came back, and they are killing it! There’s several new wing flavors and menu items that caught our eye, and everything we had was fantastic! The nachos were especially great - we always appreciate when there’s plenty of toppings and layers of it with no bare chips. Sandwiches, wings, and drinks were all great! They were doing trivia when we were there too. Everything was clean and it was a nice vibe. This visit really reminded us why we always loved Sliders, and we’ll definitely be adding it back into our rotation of local places!”

I was very impressed with my "surprise me" drink that's on the drink me. You tell them what you like and the bartender surprises you with a drink they made. They nailed it!
