“This is an older building but the room appeared to be recently updated. Everything worked & had no issues. This is a two-person room. We appreciated the privacy this room gave us and the direct access to the beach was very nice. Beach chairs could use replacement. Check-in/out was easy & staff was friendly. We would definitely stay here again if traveling to AMI and request the same location & room.”

”My husband is a long-term patient of the Mayo Clinic and this hotel is a God-send. Reasonably priced, close to the Mayo and all kinds of shopping and restaurants. The rooms are clean, fashionable and the beds are comfortable. Each room has a microwave and a mini-fridge which is so convenient for a patient from Mayo who may not be as mobile and needs to bring food in. The staff is accommodating and the service is good. I like that they are security conscious and keep the outside doors locked at night. We strongly recommend them for anyone looking for short or long term stays!”

”This is a great Hilton property! Although it’s adjacent to the airport, the area is nice and safe. The front staff was top notch- professional, cheery and helpful! My room was very comfortable and immaculately cleaned. I know a lot of hotel noise depends on the guests, but this is one of the quietest hotels where I’ve stayed. The clientele was nice and if you’re a woman traveling alone, that’s important. Although the family member I was visiting lives in south Sarasota, it was absolutely worth the driving back and forth to stay at the this Hampton Inn. *There weren’t any restaurants within walking distance that I saw, but I understand the hotel does provide transportation. I had a rental car so it wasn’t an issue.”

”I am extremely happy with this hotel. We disembarked from our cruise at 8am and our flight back to Seattle wasn't until the next evening. So we were going to stay the night here. We took a taxi straight to the hotel at 8 am because we had our luggage so we were just going to wait around til check in at 3. But Natalie at the front desk was so awesome. She allowed us to get into a room at that time without hesitation. I was so thankful. Breakfast bar had several options and it was very good food. And they also have a free shuttle to the airport. It was a great experience. I definitely recommend this hotel.”

Also, be aware that the door doesn’t close by itself, you have to push it in. The hallway’s A/C in 2nd floor is not working, it’s really hot until you get into your room.”

My boyfriend went to use the bathroom and when he lifted up the toilet seat the were poop stains on the toilet and in the toilet bowl and there was coffee stains in the sink. I went downstairs to let them know about the issues in the room. They offered to give another room but giving someone a different room is not going to solve the issues so I said no. I cleaned the poop off the toilet but I had no toilet brush to clean the toilet bowl. Front desk guy said he would call his manager to let her know but he never did. The next morning I called down front desk and was transferred to the manager who stated no one told her anything about the complaint. She said she would have someone come up to clean the bathroom but when I got back that night to the hotel there was still poop stains in the toilet bowl. When I come to a hotel all I want to have a clean toilet and nice bed I shouldn’t have to clean the things that should have been cleaned before I arrived.”

The front desk attendant recommended a great restaurant for dinner, and the maintenance man in the gold truck was jumping someone’s car in the parking lot. That to me says a lot. I appreciated the gentleman at the desk at check out as well as the other employees we saw there. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to the space center for the weekend!”

They didn't have enough outlets in my opinion and figuring out the overhead lights was confusing. The shower curtains are not long enough, so the floor got soaked every time we showered. The pool are was great. It has a Tiki island vibe which we loved. All the staff was great and overall we really enjoyed our stay.”
