“On my top 5 of favorites places in Gables area! Our second time here, excellent restaurant, good service, good prices, comparing with how expensive is right now going out in Miami. Plus, the music is not so loud, for some reason in a lot of Italian places they have super annoying loud music. The pasta with clams was good on our first visit, this second time we ordered pear salad, spaghetti bologna and lasagna. Everything was great and big portions, but the lasagna was OUTSTANDING. All the staff were always friendly and attentive.”

“This restaurant is great hidden gem. It's a historic building that was built in 1884 and was originally a grocery store. That's why the name "Lee's grocery"still remains. The atmosphere is very laid back. The service that we received was very nice too. The pizza was very tasty and had plenty of styles to choose from. There is a wide selection of beers and sodas. There is a outdoor patio that is fenced-in and pet friendly. The owner is very friendly and down-to-earth.”

”We live over 2 hours away, but have eaten here once before and I was excited to come back for my birthday dinner. I’m from upstate New York and Italian, so I’m picky with Italian joints. That speaks a lot. The food was great. Daniel our server was great. I got a free tiramisu for my birthday dessert, which was delicious. The only complaint I have is the guy that was at the hostess stand when we first got there, around 730. He was a bit rude and laughed in my face telling me they couldn’t seat us until after 9. The lady walked back up as we were about to leave (I assume the actual hostess?) and told us they’d text around 8 with a ready table. Sure enough, they did. A whole hour before the guy initially told us. Even if we had to wait until 9, it was his attitude that was the issue, not the wait. I think his snarky demeanor and the fact that he didn’t even have an accurate answer is enough reason not to have him greeting people. If we hadn’t been here before and I wasn’t set on wanting this for my birthday dinner, we would have been off put enough to go somewhere else just because of him. It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it.”

”I'm giving 2 stars for the Pizza (Please do not call this New York Style Pizza...it is nothing like New York Pizza) because it's pretty good for the area I live in I've come to expect the cardboard crust I find at every Pizza place around here and we usually get our Pizza from Moschellos in Homosassa. But the terrible excuse for an Eggplant Parm hero/sub was a joke (see pic) the eggplant was sliced so thin there was no eggplant to be found, the horrible bread (also found everywhere in Florida) swallowed it and there was almost no cheese at all. There was probably about a dollars worth of eggplant on my $8.95 sandwich. The spinach roll was so thin and smushed and was so dry it was like it was a week old. The calzone would've been ok if there was cheese and ricotta in the whole thing and not just in the center, it was mostly pizza dough. I was very disappointed and would only recommend maybe stopping in for a pizza. I was tempted to grab a slice of the veggie pizza in the counter case until the girl behind the counter said there was ranch dressing on it...ranch dressing has no business being anywhere on a slice of Pizza!”

”The owner of this restaurant knows what great service means. It was later on Saturday night and we did not have reservations, which was bad on our part (read between the lines: call for reservations!) We had had such a rough day, and were exhausted with kiddos - all we were craving was good Italian food. We were able to enjoy some cocktails while we waited and this man went out of his way to make a space for us. The food was exceptional, and both the owner and the waitress were so kind, it was amazing. This will be one place we will return to when we visit as it is one classy place, for a variety of reasons. If you get the chance to dine here, do not hesitate. You will be so glad you did!”

”We were in Orlando for a concert at the Amway Center and Delaney' came to us in the elevator at the recommendation of another hotel guest. We walked a short distance and enjoyed an amazing dinner experience. We shared an entrée and several small plates, ice cold beer, mango jalapeño margaritas and great service. The Moroccan cauliflower was out a phenomenal dish full of spices and tender florets. The wedge salad was crisp and flavorful. The smoked brisket tacos were very filling and had fingerling potatoes inside which were a nice twist. The food and service were so great we went back after we checked out of our hotel and had brunch. The steak and eggs were very good. I added mushrooms and it was a nice touch. We also had the french toast and I don't know what magic they made it in (similar to the cauliflower) but we haven't stopped talking about it. We frequent Orlando often and we have found a new favorite, must visit place to eat. Superb food and service!”
