“I would (and do) recommend Zone to anyone looking for a quality gym in the Ocala region. I started working out here several years ago, but since moving back into town I’ve been happy to return back here! Compared to other gyms I’ve been a member at, Zone has a nice variety of equipment to accommodate all fitness levels. It’s always clean and good energy from staff. The owner, Ben, is constantly giving back to the members by hosting events & upgrading the space and equipment. Special shout-out to my trainer, Jeremy! I know every time I train with him I’m guaranteed to have an amazing workout. He does a great job understanding his clients’ goals and pushing them to achieve them & beyond! I always leave our sessions feeling super accomplished and motivated to keep building healthy habits :)”

”Poochie’s is our favorite place to take our dog! The staff are always helpful and the place is usually pretty clean. Our dog LOVES the pond to swim in and we really enjoy the fenced in trail and field in the back. Toys, trash bags, trash cans, and water are always available for your dogs. It’s very affordable and worth the money! We boarded our dog there for a week once and it seemed to go great. My favorite is the holiday decor and thoughtfulness of events and activities that they provide regularly. We love Poochie’s!”

”Having served on the U.S.S. Dwight D. Eisenhower from 1980 to 1984, I was excited to visit the Eisenhower center in The Villages. What a beautiful memorial to all the military branches and to those who served. I was slightly disappointed, though, that there was very little about the namesake aircraft carrier which I called home for 4.5 years. There are all sorts of donated military memorabilia on display. The most heart wrenching were the letters to families informing them that their loved ones had been lost in action. I was surprised to hear a big band orchestra playing in one on the large auditoriums. Bravo! Quite a collection of talented local resident musicians practicing their passion.”

”The Withlacoochee Red Trail Loop is one of the most scenic trails around Tampa Bay that I have walked. It was cool weather so I didn't see much wildlife. I found the scenery was very nice, especially around the river. An added bonus is the tower along the path. I can see why the previous commenters were confused by the All Trails map. I found that I had to follow the orange blazes for 3/4 of the loop, then switched to follow the blue blazes. This is the only way I could stay on the All Trails path.”

Tue only negative point is that you can’t stay there more than 5 month a year. They should have an area for long term campers since there are not many options in the area and in my case I was working close by and after five months I had to move and find another place.”

Glatchy is so awesome! It feels good to walk in there and see her friendly face which immediately puts me at ease. It’s a great vibe here I love how clean it is. I love to use the hydro massage bed after a nice little work out. They have all the machines u need, massage chairs and tanning booths too. Showers for after your workout and pretty good hours. They have a workout schedule with a trainer that comes with all the memberships. Cool place, really. They even have a summer program for teens to workout for free. I really like this place.”

”I love swimming, so naturally I found myself at the nearest pool location. It's only 4$ a person and you get to swim until they close. It's a saltwater pool and includes, a lap pool area and a big empty section. They did have a diving board, but you couldn't jump off of it or do tricks unfortunately. It doesn't have much for entertainment, like slides and stuff like that, but it does have chairs to sit on under a canopy if you are watching your family or friends swim. I ended up swimming for 3 hours. I had a good time!”

”You could tell that once upon a time, this gym was ahead of its time. Seems now that the owners have stopped caring for this gym or its members. Everything is out of date. The free weights, the static machines, cardio equipment, the cables machine, sauna, everything is falling apart. You can’t change or adjust the weight on most of the machines because they’re either stuck or broken. The cables are tearing apart, the weights are stuck, the handles are disgustingly rusted and the hygiene is one of the worst standards. There’s an injury right around every corner of this gym. A little scared for myself at times if something will collapse and send me to the hospital at any moment. Every time I come here, I wind up leaving with a sore throat or waking up with a fever the next day, guaranteed. This gym has been roughly treated and lived in very hard. The sauna barely warms up because they have a tiny cheap unit that heats up a big room, but the door opens every 2 seconds and doesn’t keep up with the traffic in and out. The water pressure in the shower trickles so it’s very tough to shower. For the price of what this place is, I just don’t see the value. Eos and Crunch might be a lot busier, however they offer much more of a modern and comfortable experience. At least you can find reliable machines that aren’t half broken or falling apart. I really hope I can get out of this 12 month contract soon because I’ve really had it here. Definitely not the powerhouse experience you expect to have with the brand.”
