“We have been metaphorically circling Anchor for weeks. Joyce gave us our initial tour and showed us two units. We were still looking at other properties so when we decided on Anchor, both units had already been leased. We went back and Joyce showed us two additional units. We did get one locked down and started the leasing process. A few days later we contacted Joyce to see if we could come back by the apartment to show our son. She happily gave us another full tour of the complex. We can definitely be a little high maintenance but she never stopped smiling and never made us feel like an imposition. Absolutely incredible experience and can’t wait to move in! Edit to add: our move in was incredible. Jisber was incredibly kind and the on-boarding process was amazing. Very thorough but in a good way. Jisber also responded to two minor maintenance service calls and for both of them, he was up to us within 30 minutes. He is very kind and helpful. We also attended our first social event. The Howl-O-Ween pet event. It was great! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. We love living here!”

I worked with Vanessa E who is excellent and exhibited patience not only with my constant silly questions during the tour but overall with everyone that walked by or needed a moment of her time. “We moved to Luzano approximately 3 weeks ago and all we have to say is that we are in love with our apartment and the Luzano Complex. We love the fact that there is plenty of parking right next to our apartment. Fred was always very kind and friendly. When he did the tour with us we were sure that Luzano would be the place where we would like to live. Kim also helped us through the process of applying and signing the contract which was very smooth and we had no problems at all. “I am here because of Sonia as she guided and assisted me over calls in details and stay connected with me through out so it became easier for me to choose this Apartment from Chicago to Tallahassee.. I talked to several properties for my move in but Sonia’s behavior sincere responses and the way she dealt with all my queries made me think to do this business. Post move in also she assisted and guided me in several things as required. I must wish to have sincere people like her in every service facility. This property is well maintained, service requests are cared fast with solutions, the neighborhood is safe, little quiet and beautiful. This is a great neighborhood with nice canopy roads where all major places are well connected with in the reach. The mornings are bright, central roads are wide (6 lanes) and on plain while the interior roads are undulating and narrower with great shades of big tall and wide trees holding each other branches give a sense of the supportive community. The neighborhood is in the northern part of the city of Tallahassee which immediately connects with the I-10, bounded by the Capital Circle and Commonwealth Boulevard. This place is comparatively quiet and without traffic congestion but cars are making the roads busy and they are always moving fast which is a big concern for the side walkers. This area has some great businesses running and making the residents easygoing for their daily life. A lots of food stops all are serving great quality food, while Walmart Supermarket, Ross, Dollar Tree, etc. are within walking distance. I love my neighborhood and this Apartment Complex. Home is where Heart is!!!”

”Gio Midtown is an outstanding upscale property with luxe amenities, thoughtful details, and generous floor plans. The units are high-quality, modern, and spacious. The award-winning staff really deserve their accolades. They made moving a complete joy. Lindsey was my point of contact from start to finish. She was very helpful and professional. I had been living abroad for a couple years and she could not have been more accommodating of my needs, providing assistance with all my deliveries and shipped items, even before I moved in! Erusta helped me load boxes up on move-in day, and gave me a tour of the property, even after the office had closed. The community is very dog-friendly which is wonderful if you have one. They have a round-the-clock maintenance team and management answers emails faster than you can think of something to complain about. I’m still a new resident so we’ll see how things go this year but so far this has been the easiest and most efficient move I’ve ever had. No complaints. I am very happy with my decision to go with Gio.”

”This place is not very nice. They told me they accept Section 8 and to apply. When I did, my application got “stuck in”their application portal and they could not access it, so they said. When I called one leasing agent had me call their application portal company who inform me that they could not talk to me because the leasing office had to call them instead. I called the leasing office and the agent then informs me that I don’t qualify because I needed to make 2.5 times the rent of $2481 even though I get Section 8. I ask the agent what is the point of me needing section 8 if I can make the 2.5 times the rent!! They didn’t care and they took my application fee of $99 plus $125 administrative fee without doing any background/credit checks nothing. I’m a single mother trying to make it and this big company takes my money. Oh and if they said they refunded my money I got an email stating they will refund me $26. Yeah, thanks for helping out someone that just needed a little help, but got shafted. ***Update*** Never received a refund!! Who ever replied to my review lied about the refund. FYI, just because someone gets Section 8 doesn’t mean they are no bodies and worthless. This place made me feel like this! I work and pay my taxes. Just right now I needed a bit of help in life.”

”I lived at this complex for over 2 years. The rent increases were ridiculous, but that I can deal with. The worst part was I had to clean the apartment when I moved in because it had disgusting, dusty, greasy mess all over the cabinets and fans. The blinds were broken and someone left contact paper in the cabinets in the kitchen, and I had to get a bug service to come out because there was small roaches all in the kitchen island. Then when I moved out, they charged ME for stuff that was broken when I moved in! They made sure to ding me for just enough stuff to keep my deposit ($200). $75 dollar charge for a small picture nail I missed on the wall! $30 to wipe out a sink that was just water stains. This place was cleaner than when I moved in but they made sure to keep my deposit and that has NEVER happened to me. If you move in, you better cover yourself and take pics of EVERYTHING. They don't care about residents at all.”
