“We only stayed one night. The things that staff can control were good: room was clean, check in & out easy, nice staff, we liked the little balcony of room 301. The things that they can't control weren't great. The room smelled musty, but there was another fragrance trying to cover it up. It was loud (night club downstairs), but closing the door did reduce it a lot. There was a light running along the top of the bed that we couldn't turn off. Overall we probably won't stay again.”

We had balcony overlooking marina and it was perfect to wake in the morning and sit on balcony with cup of coffee. Nice restaurant walking from our room Cons: room was small . 2 full size beds . Since it was 4 of us we had to get another folding bed as 2 adults couldn’t fit comfortably in that bed. Also bed was curiously short . Tiny bathroom . The worst were roaches in the bathroom . No I am sorry it was not the worst . The worst was 360$ price for that room . Just imagine you are staying in motel 6 and for some strange reason they charge you almost 400$ for the room . So the room was a major disappointment . When people paying this kind of money they definitely expect at least some luxury stay. This was a quality of near the road smal motel.”

My husband works in a hospital and his schedule can be rather wonky but we actually both had a day off on the same day and we got lucky that the Black Dolphin Inn also had a room available for the evening. Our last minute getaway was perfect. The room was clean and super cute. Our breakfast was delicious. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Our favorite team members are Jessica and Aaron. Jessica is always super friendly and helpful. You can actually tell that she's smiling even when she answers the phone. ”My husband is a long-term patient of the Mayo Clinic and this hotel is a God-send. Reasonably priced, close to the Mayo and all kinds of shopping and restaurants. The rooms are clean, fashionable and the beds are comfortable. Each room has a microwave and a mini-fridge which is so convenient for a patient from Mayo who may not be as mobile and needs to bring food in. The staff is accommodating and the service is good. I like that they are security conscious and keep the outside doors locked at night. We strongly recommend them for anyone looking for short or long term stays!”

”This is a great Hilton property! Although it’s adjacent to the airport, the area is nice and safe. The front staff was top notch- professional, cheery and helpful! My room was very comfortable and immaculately cleaned. I know a lot of hotel noise depends on the guests, but this is one of the quietest hotels where I’ve stayed. The clientele was nice and if you’re a woman traveling alone, that’s important. Although the family member I was visiting lives in south Sarasota, it was absolutely worth the driving back and forth to stay at the this Hampton Inn. *There weren’t any restaurants within walking distance that I saw, but I understand the hotel does provide transportation. I had a rental car so it wasn’t an issue.”
