“Cucina Calandra continues to be a go to dining out destination for my family. Aside from having some nice promotions, like the 2 for $40 menu and the new kids eat free on Wednesday, they simply and consistently turn out delicious food and great service. My personal favorite meal there is the Calamari Fritti with sweet marinara sauce. There are never any left on the serving dish but it is always a nice appetizer that the whole family enjoys. We’ll continue dining here for sure!”

”My husband was looking up best burger joints in JC and he told me we needed to try this spot. Hubs was thinking it would be a nicer sit down but vibe was casual fast food like Shake Shack where you order from a machine. Nothing bad about that. Restaurant was clean but you just want to eat and get out as it was a sterile experience. I don’t eat beef so I got the Impossible burger while my husband got the Holypeno. Taste wise, ok, but don’t get the rave reviews that we read???? And our burgers honestly looked like McDonalds… flattened, sauce haphazardly placed. Packaging super cute but the worst offender was the stone cold fries. If they were atleast piping hot, I could add another star as I would then be satisfied for what I paid for. Was this because we went on a Tues night? Or would it be the same if I went on the weekend? I am not even a fan of shake shack but the burgers don’t come out looking as sad. Hoping this feedback helps to improve future customer experience.”

”I ordered chicken wings, a salad, and soup. The wings were frozen in the middle. I showed the waitress, who was apologetic, and I asked to speak with the manager. The Manager was too busy to come talk to me, I waited about 10 minutes and then got up to talk to her. She was fairly indifferent and said she took them off my bill and basically dismissed me. I was shocked how little she cared about serving raw meat. I said I’ve lost my appetite and will not be eating the rest of my meal. She snapped back, “So what, you want a free meal?” I told her I was not eating any of the meal. I tipped the waitress and left feeling completely disgusted by not only the food but the manager’s attitude. Never coming back.”

”This place, while maybe appearing like an overpriced tourist trap, is one of the best Jewish diners I’ve been to. I split both the matzo ball soup and pastrami sandwich with my mother. The presentation of the soup was a nice touch, but what I really loved was the food itself. The broth was a bit light but very enjoyable, the carrots were perfectly steamed to a balance of crisp and mush, and the matzo ball was buttery and soaked up the flavor of the soup very well. The pastrami sandwich came with a generous portion of pastrami, which was juicy and flavorful. The rye bread was nice and the challah bread the matzo ball soup came with was perfectly fluffy and just a little sweet. Aside from the amazing food, the service and atmosphere of this place is also incredible. I only wish the prices were lower so I could come more often!”

”We love Theresa’s for many special occasions! We were celebrating our two year wedding anniversary and we were greeted by a sweet anniversary card from the hostess. Food was incredible as usual and the restaurant was so lovely all decorated for Christmas. I did take one star off of atmosphere because the radio system was on the firtz and for almost an hour we kept hearing the music fade in and out and inner mixed with static. Once that was just turned off everything was much more enjoyable.”

”I often go to the queen too on Landis and Lincoln avenue in Vineland. I really love their soups because they do not use pork. They make excellent salads as well as sandwich platters and breakfasts. One of the owners is always there to make sure you are pleased with your meal. The waitresses are caring and experienced. They also have a very nice dessert case. Pictured below is chili and a Greek salad. Also I took a picture of my friends sandwich platter.”

I ordered the roasted spring chicken off the specials menu, which included a soup, vegetable, and potato. The chicken itself tasted a bit dry, but I enjoyed the stuffing, chicken soup, mashed potatoes, and carrots. The service was quite quick and the waitress was friendly.
