“Family and I had a great experience. Ran into a little issue with breakfast but it was fixed immediately! The gym was nice. The staff were beyond kind and helpful whenever any inconvenience came up. The hotel is located in the middle of multiple cities and attractions, the traffic tends to get a little crazy. Makes it hard to get into and out of the hotel entry/exit way. If you are going too fast, you may miss the entrance of the hotel. You do have to pay for parking, but it is surprisingly cheap compared to the other hotels in the area. I will definitely book again if I ever travel back to this area of New Jersey.”

“My wife and I had a short, weekend stay. We got in around midnight on Friday and the lobby was bright and inviting after a long day of travel. We were greeted at the front desk by Brian, the same person I had made my reservations with. We had a great chat and I was absolutely thrilled with our accommodations. The suite was clean and quite frankly everything looked new and updated. Breakfast the next day was pretty much what you would expect, but the food area was really nicely kept and the eating area was really nice and comfortable. I've been a Hilton Honors member for many years. Truth be told many of my recent stays in NJ were at another Hilton property. This one outclassed that property by leaps and bounds. So Shout out to Brian, a man of his word, and this place will get my business from now on.”

“During an unfortunate time in our lives my boys and I were living in hotels for about 7 months. We stayed here because the rooms were affordable compared to hotels around it. Their deposit is only $25 and usually refunded back to my card a few minutes after check out, where nearby hotels were asking for $250 and $300. The rooms are clean and updated with a refrigerator/microwave combo, 40 inch TV, heat/air conditioner. There's free parking and wifi. Walking distance from restaurants. They have free continental breakfast and free coffee/ tea all day. There's a small convenience store with an ATM near the front desk. They have a 24 hour gym. The room that wound up being our home for 5 months was perfect. It had a patio that led to a fenced in yard where pets or children can run and play. The staff were nothing short of phenomenal from the manager Kaigu (I know I'm speling it wrong), the front desk staff, the Cafe staff, to the cleaning crew. They were all pleasant and professional and treated my boys and I like family. The grounds are beautiful, it's the perfect place for a wedding, party, or any special event where you want the luxury without the price tag. Once they realized my situation, they made us feel welcomed. This place and their staff made a difficult time that much easier for my boys and I. I'll never forget the kindness they showed us. Now that we've finally found a home, we still consider the Wilshire Grand or home away from home. I'm so grateful to the staff. I'll never forget that in my time of need, you all shown me and my children that there are still good people in this world. Thank you.”

“Less than welcoming check-in experience, like we were bothering them. The rooms were somewhat dated and both rooms had dirty carpets. It was nice to have a mini fridge. Breakfast was barely over continental. Potatoes were undercooked. No cream or half/half for coffee except for coffee mate. Turkey sausage was a challenge to swallow…flavorless. No orange juice (broken). Better than nothing but would have went out for a real breakfast had we stayed longer. My towel was also stained, which was disconcerting. It just did not live up to the Hilton brand, which I normally book.”

”Stayed here for one week with the family sharing a suite. All the staff at the hotel have been very kind & made us feel at home from the beginning. The rooms were equipped with everything we needed, were clean & the breakfast was also great. Overall the hotel is a great value, being conveniently located only a 30 minutes bus ride from Times Square/Manhattan. Edgewater, the area, where the hotel is located is very peaceful and nice too. Right next to the hotel, one can find some shops as well as restaurants & within only a 15 minutes walk groceries store.”

”Upon entering, a strong odor, similar to Raid bug spray. The odor continued into the elevator. The odor was not present in room 331. We carefully inspected the bed, which had no bugs. The curtain had a large brown stain on it. The room was otherwise clean and comfortable. The breakfast was hot and fresh. The bug spray odor was again present in the elevator at checkout.”

”Excellent hotel for a large family. We are a family of 5, so staying in a hotel is a challenge usually due to a lack of sleeping accommodations. However, at the Hyatt Place they have rooms with a sleeper sofa, attached love seat and two double beds, with a kitchenette, desk and full bathroom. Perfect accommodation for our family. We also brought our two Cavapoo dogs (around 20-25 lbs each) and paid a $75 pet fee. This hotel offers a Free Breakfast that is like no other hotel we’ve ever been to. It was a full breakfast, hot and fresh, and amazing coffee to accompany it. This saved us around $40 every morning by not having to pay for breakfast for our large family. We will definitely be back!”

”Let me start off with saying the reviews people are giving a 2...true. my experience was bad I explain of some biting me in the room and you to tell me it didn't and push what I felt aside. I will never stay there again. Management wouldn't call me back after I left few messages for them to return my funds. I use that particular hotel because I had medical procedures. That hotel needs to be cleaned and treated for bugs! I'm nit looking for no one now to return my call after these few months of not caring especially with me being a diamond member. I even reached out and noted this problem day after at the diamond office. One thing I can say the check in front desk person was nice and polite. Location would be great if they cater to people and what they saying vout their rooms.”

”My family and I were traveling back from Maryland and needed to stop because of bad weather , I quickly chose this hotel and we were not disappointed, although we only stayed one night it was great! The room was clean and bright. The bed was very comfortable. Tanya checked us in and she was extremely pleasant and even gave us some waters. The next day we had breakfast and were extremely impressed on not on the selection but the good flavors. The breakfast attendant was so accommodating and friendly. She gave us a great experience and I'm so glad she is a part of your team. She mentioned it was for 12 years ! Next time we are in the area we will be staying again, highly recommend”

”We just had our son's wedding in the area and booked a room block at the Holiday Inn. From our first encounter 14 months earlier to the day of the wedding, we found the staff responsive and extremely helpful. Shout out to Tanya (director of sales), who helped us thru each step in the process. We thought our suite was wonderful. I asked our guests what they thought of the hotel, and all said the rooms were clean, air conditioners quiet, and beds extremely comfortable. We also took advantage of their catering services for a private hot breakfast the morning after. The food and service were excellent. The hotel has a nice pool, which I enjoyed the night before the wedding and a nice bar, which had a good crowd from other weddings staying at the hotel, for the after-party. I highly recommend the hotel.”
