“One of the best hotels near NYC! The location is perfect since it is right in front of the bus stop and 10 mind away from another bus stop during weekends where the one in front of the hotel is not available. The room was clean!!!! Safe area and the staff were wonderful. The biggest thing as well is it has a full kitchen (sink, stove top, and big fridge). The staff was also super accommodating for me because I had to leave two days before the end of my reservation. They took care of it for me and got me checked out early with reimbursement. 10/10.”

“Great location just off the Orange Loop. Many eateries and shops around. Centrally located a block off the boardwalk, so it's great if you like to go from place to place like we do. The hotel itself had above average decor. The staff were really nice and helpful. It's not a gigantic hotel, so there is easy access from parking to your room which is relieving. I look forward to staying here in the future.”

“The Aloha Oceanfront is a wonderful place to stay! We stayed for a long weekend and were pleasantly surprised by the impeccable cleanliness of the room upon check in. All of the staff were so friendly to my family (special shoutout to the woman in housekeeping, the young man keeping the balconies/railings/exterior clean, and front desk). Having a clean pool with a shallow area for kids was wonderful. It is definitely a family friendly place to stay. Coffee and breakfast downstairs was convenient and so many places within walking distance. We stayed on the third floor and the view was beautiful! The steps were at times challenging with small children but finding out there are different style rooms on each floor is great information for our next stay. We can't wait to come back and stay again!”

“Great hotel for a short stay. The breakfast has a lot of options to choose. Unfortunately, the famous pancake machine wasn't working. The place was tidy and clean, rooms were very nice, and the bed was very comfortable, just like the pillows. It's 10 minute away (walking) from the PATH train to Manhattan. Great overall experience”

“The hotel room is decent. The shower door doesn't close. The mini fridge makes noise. The snack counter is poorly stocked and the person working behind the desk blamed it on the boss. Zero chips etc. Don't dare ask them for a wine opener, they think it was stolen. The coffee in the lobby was cold and I was told they have hot coffee for breakfast, which stops at 9:30 am. Don't ask for a 2nd cup after 9:30.All around this hotel is only good for one thing...they allow pets. But the people working..don't necessarily like pets.”

”Clean and very minimalist (the TV was the size of a desktop monitor). The bathroom floor was intensely cold! So cold you couldn't stand at the sink to brush your teeth. Given it was the winter, the $147 fee was ridiculous. Overall, just a room. Never again.”

”I will get my one negative comment out the way and say that the rooms could've been cleaner. I requested a switch out of my first room due to food residue being scattered about. I booked a few hours before checking in due to an emergency so it very well could've been that I came in between cleanings. That said, the lady I checked in with was extremely kind during check in and when I requested my switch. All of the staff was very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was delicious both days of my stay. The gym is small but has a good variety of workout tools. The price for a last minute emergency booking on my part was very good. If you're looking for a casual stay and need a comfortable, safe place to sleep I would definitely recommend this hotel. I would go back again.”

”Disgusting place. Jacuzzi filthy and when we complained they sent 2 women who used the same broom to sweep the floor to move the water around in the tub, no scrubbing or bleach to clean the jets. Round bed was very hard and pillows were flat. Rancid old water smell permeated the room. Bathroom was literally a mobile home bathroom with spotted towels. Needless to say, Worst Valentines ever.”

”Do not stay at this place. It’s got mold and mildew which is unbreathable. We were recently supposed to stay there from Thursday till Monday and we had to leave on Saturday because of the mold. This is unhealthy. The staff was very accommodating to clean the mold from the air conditioner, but that does not help with your breathing. The bed linens are very old. The sheets are from another century. Bring your own sheets and linens if you’re going there. The pool heater supposedly just broke even though they said it just got a $10,000 pool heater. Questionable? It is a great proximity, but the place needs updating. The shower mat was moldy. I have read the reviews afterwards and I wish I read before because I would not have booked. When I went to the front desk and told her we were leaving due to the mold, she said OK sweetie. It’s a shame because it’s in a good location and they could upgrade things easily. Couch felt like sand fleas biting., I wouldn’t recommend.”
