I loved the hand rolls; the spicy tuna was some of the best I’ve had. My favorite dish was pork belly. The pork belly was perfectly crispy and the combination of flavors was delicious; I’m still thinking about it. The price is well worth the quality grade sushi and experience!”

“The Peking Duck I ordered came with feathers on it and after I adresses this with the staff I was told that when you order it from a Chinese takeout place it has feathers on it. I explained that while this might be true it is not proper preparation and I wouldn’t expect it from a nice restaurant such as Koi- I expect better. The staff kept assuring me that this is the way it is prepared when they eat it elsewhere but they didn’t offer any solutions. I just said that I would like my feedback to be taken into consideration and passed on to the chef. I recommend hibachi and their sushi but not sure about anything else.”

“Visited KPOT Korean BBQ and Hot Pot at Englewood, NJ, while we were in the area. The place was packed as expected for a Sunday. There was a small wait to get seated, but not too long. We opted to do the BBQ today as opposed to the Hot Pot. The meats seemed fresh and marinade nicely. The veggies seemed fresh as well. Would have been nice if our attendant was more attentive as we wanted to place more orders for beverages and meats to BBQ. All in all, it was a decent experience. This would be a once in a while experience as you can only pay so much to an establishment where you do their job for them. You could just stay home and fire up the grill?”

Everything we tried was obviously amazing but the attention to detail really stands out here..the ginger dressing on their salads for example beyond fresh and pungent and flavorful. The noodles they give you in the hibachi …it’s just a basic side item.. but so fresh .. the flavor I can’t pinpoint it.. salty sweet peppery buttery tangy.. it’s all there! The veggies are not over cooked at all super crunchy .. the quality of the fish and meat is perfect nothing overly salted so you can actually taste the meat! Oh and I almost forgot , their soup that comes with the hibachi .. holy bicycles! It’s perfect sooooo much flavor it must have some kind of bone marrow broth because it’s extremely filing and not overly salty at all!”

”This is the place to come with a big group of people or for your birthday. Very spacious space and a huge area with many hibachi stations. This place is definitely on the higher side and the food was pretty good. The only downside to the food is that they use way too much soysauce in their dishes. It is insanely salty that even the slightest touch of noodle on your tongue is unbearable. Best to make reservation or come and have an early dinner if you want to come here for dinner.”

”It was really difficult to find the place. We were right near, but couldn’t find it because no building number and/or restaurant name. We called up, but it was still hard. Finally, staff came out to meet us. This place has just moved two weeks ago and the sign says something else. The atmosphere is bright and nice since all Japanese restaurants are dark inside. The food is good and fish was fresh, but my husband didn’t like the salad dressing because it was sweet. The check was surprise. I knew when I saw the menu, but way expensive. Other places offer the similar kind of food, but not that expensive. We will not go back. P. S. We had vegetable tempura appetizers, deluxe sashimi and sushi for two besides the salad.”

Got home to see see all of the orders have shrimp mixed In. Called back and they told me there is nothing they can do but replace one order. As they cannot replace the whole order. Loved the sweet eel sauce, and enjoyed the Lobster roll the most. The spicy sauce on the American dream overpowered the roll and drowned out the crab flavor. But it was tasty nonetheless. The only complaint is that carpet. It has that old carpet odor and needs to be changed. That alone could keep me from returning. My rating is for the food only. Could have been higher if it weren't for poor presentation for the store front and rolls.”

”In the matter of fact I don't like Chinese food, My coworker advised me to try Red Bowl in Waldwick branch and he was absolutely correct, I tried Cashu Checken with Wonton soup and fried rice and it one of the best meals I've ever have in my life, Now every week I have to pick up the phone and order my Chinese meal ( only $10 ask for special meals), And to be honest I've tried 2 or 3 other Chinese restaurants in New Jersey but it was not as good as Red Bowl restaurant in Waldwick, The service is great and the quality is very good but I prefer to take away and enjoy it at my lunch break or at home.
