Rakkan Ramen Dtla
4.5
( 8 reviews ) $$

359 1st St, Los Angeles, CA 90012, United States

“I was looking for some good ramen and this place was so good! I took the train so idk about parking. It was small inside so there was a short wait. Wait wasn't bad although I wish you didn't have to wait there because I felt like I was in the way on the sidewalk. But it was worth it. Workers were nice and the vegan ramen was so good. Good portion and price and really tasty. Highly recommend.”

Daikokuya Monterey Park
4.4
( 8 reviews ) $$

111 N Atlantic Blvd UNIT 241, Monterey Park, CA 91754, United States

“My first time here after hearing so many good things from my husband since he grew up eating at this place. We got the combo which was the noodles, rice with beef and a salad. I got their house special noodles which is the daikokuya noodles. Overall K thought it was ok. The noodles were a bit starchy. But the broth was creamy just enough, although I felt like there wasn’t enough char shiu meat in my noodles, just very little and thinly sliced. We also got CA rolls and they were very good. I’ll try other dishes next time.”

Hinodeya Ramen Downtown (financial District)

( 8 reviews ) $$
Open until 10:00 PM

680 Clay St, San Francisco, CA 94111, United States

“Amazing ramen spot! We were so relieved to find this place, as we had just finished a full night tour of Alcatraz and were freezing cold & starving. They’re open late in a convenient location in Chinatown, and this was the best ramen we tried in San Francisco by far. The reviews are correct; the Creamy Vegan ramen is superb, and I’m sad we weren’t able to visit more than once during our trip. Clean, modern, and stylish atmosphere – great for date night. Only hiccup: since we were visitors, we didn’t have wifi, so ordering via QR code wasn’t feasible. We look forward to visiting again & again.”

Ramen Parlor
4.4
( 8 reviews ) $$

901 S B St, San Mateo, CA 94401, United States

“Absolutely great food and great service. Nice options on the menu and right level of spice and broth to noodle ratio. I added kimchi on the side and added veggies to my toppings. Just the right balance. Attentive and polite service. Don’t be afraid to ask for suggestions because our server was spot on. Medium was perfect level for us. It’s always easier to add later than try to remove spicyness. Go mild if you’re not used to spicy foods.”

New Rice

( 8 reviews ) $$

1825-3 San Pablo Ave, Oakland, CA 94612, United States

“Friendly and attentive staff. Plenty of drinks bar and kitchen bar seating. Can get a bit loud. Food came out quick. Gyoza and fries were a bit greasy, but acceptably so. Ramen was generous with a good selection of vegetables but a bit on the blander side. Drinks were strong and well balanced.”

“Really enjoyed my meal at Naruto Ramen! The seafood ramen was a standout, brimming with rich flavors and fresh ingredients. While everything was tasty, there's a slight room for improvement in other areas. Nevertheless, a solid 4 stars and I'll certainly be back!”

2314 S Union Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90007, United States

“I hadn't been here in many years but it was just as good as I remember it. I sent on a random weeknight and the place was full of college students, obviously, since it's so close to USC. They have a cool reverse happy hour with decently prices items. I ordered a number of their vegan options that were clearly marked and everything was delicious. The servers and staff were very friendly and attentive. I won't wait as long for my next return visit.”

Hokkaido Tomen Santouka
4.5
( 8 reviews ) $$

3760 S Centinela Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90066, United States

“Possibly the best ramen in the area. Get the salt ramen. The soup has a deep richness with some hint of fermentation, possibly miso or mirin. The pork belly is tender and fresh. The toppings varied and were complimentary. Pricing is a great deal. Overall, such a hidden gem for the area”

Ramen Izakaya Van Nuys
4.5
( 8 reviews ) $$

13727 Victory Blvd, Valley Glen, CA 91401, United States

“We recently had the pleasure of dining at Izakaya Ramen, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience. The cozy ambiance combined with the delicious food made for a truly memorable meal. First and foremost, let's talk about their spicy miso ramen. It was absolutely phenomenal! The broth had the perfect balance of heat and umami, leaving a lingering, satisfying spice on my palate. The noodles were cooked to perfection, and the toppings added a delightful texture and flavor. If you're a fan of spicy ramen, I highly recommend giving this dish a try at Izakaya Ramen. Next up was the fried California roll, and it was a delightful surprise. The roll was expertly prepared with a crisp and golden exterior, while the inside was filled with fresh and flavorful ingredients. The combination of the crunchy tempura batter and the creamy filling was a match made in heaven. It was a unique twist on a classic dish, and it certainly exceeded my expectations. Lastly, let's talk about the mochi ice cream. It was the perfect way to end the meal on a sweet note. The mochi had a delicate, chewy texture, and the ice cream filling was lusciously smooth. The flavors were authentic and delicious, with a wide variety to choose from. It was a delightful treat that left me wanting more. I must also mention the exceptional service provided by our server, Karla. She was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. Her recommendations were spot-on, and she went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was enjoyable. Karla's warm and welcoming demeanor added to the overall positive experience at Izakaya Ramen. Parking is enough for 14 or more cars at the back.”

Ramen Village
4.5
( 8 reviews ) $$

13882 Newport Ave, Tustin, CA 92780, United States

“Decent ramen for great price if you visit for lunch. With $1 add on, you can get a roll. Donkotsu ramen broth was thick enough. Noodle was chewy. However, it was a little bit on the blend side that I had to add some salt.”

Santa Isometric
4.3
( 8 reviews )

1944 S El Camino Real, San Mateo, CA 94403, United States

“Santa knows how to ramen. Photo of the softshell crab in pork flavor! Better to reduce the number of ingredients, thinner but larger cuts of meat yet more broth.”

Jinya Ramen Bar - San Jose
4.2
( 8 reviews ) $$

925 Blossom Hill Rd #1637, San Jose, CA 95123, United States

“Ambience is nice and so is service. But food is okaish. I tried vegan harvest ramen and spicy chicken ramen. Both were okay! They weren’t spicy even when I ordered hot version of it. And their meat imitation was little sweet in taste. It wasn’t bad but definitely doesn’t taste like meat! :D Overall it’s ok to visit/skip.”

Rococo Ramen
4.5
( 8 reviews ) $$

16931 Devonshire St, Granada Hills, CA 91344, United States

“Pleasantly surprised with how the good the Chashu Pork Buns were. 👌🏼 The ramen was also flavorful. I found that the Tonkotsu ramen was too rich for my taste, but the Chashu was fatty. We liked the Shoyu better, but the Chashu included was very lean, so it feels like we missed out on the fat. Atmosphere was okay. Not a lot of people around 5pm. It was a bit dark though. Overall, love the food and will come back!”

“Me and my dad enjoy eating Ramenya’s Basic Ramen and Fried Rice. Yesterday we still have the Basic Ramen and this time we have Gyoza for a side dish. I heard that they used to live in Olympic Street before coming to Gateway Blvd. You can either eat inside or outside. Whatever feels comfortable for you when coming to Ramenya. So if you see a Heart Shaped on the Menu that means it is there most popular dish. They also have a Vegetarian Ramen meals on the Menu. So I would definitely come back to enjoy a nice hot Ramen.”
