The Summer Dream cocktail with yuzu and passionfruit, and the Japanese gin & tonic were really smooth and sweet with no weird aftertaste. First time trying bao buns, I had the pork belly and it was beautiful. Karaage chicken wasn’t the absolute best I’ve had but it was still great and their sauce with it was incredible- so sweet but not overpowering. It would be better if they did normal fries- the sweet potato fries were a bit plain and needed more seasoning. Overall, what they do well, they do REALLY well. I’ll be back to try the spring rolls and more drinks!”

“Disgraceful customer service. Ordered Pizza and Pasta from this place few days ago. Pizzas were really good I must say but the Pasta we had was a cream based pasta called Malaika Pasta. We ordered through website after thoroughly going through the ingredients which nowhere mentioned that this is spicy. Pasta turned out to be extremely spicy despite having no mention of it at all in the menu. My 3 year old and pregnant wife almost fell ill after eating such extremely spicy food. In my 7 years of life in Australia never have I ever come across a cream-based pasta which is spicy, let alone extremely spicy. Moreover, upon calling them next day to share feedback on the spicy pasta and requesting them to have it written somewhere on the menu so potential future customers are aware before ordering one, instead of acknowledging my concern and accepting the mistake I get told by a rude lady over the phone that this is what it is and all our pastas are extremely spicy even at a normal level and its upon customer to let us know while ordering. How on earth are we supposed tell them while ordering online via the website when their ingredients mention nothing about spice level. Had I received a better answer when I called up to simply share a feedback, I wouldn't have shared my thoughts here. Be careful before ordering Pastas here. Nevertheless, Pizza were very nice”

The toastie was okay but needs a higher quality ham (was much the same as from Coles or woolies with about as much flavour), the cheese was super melty and nice but could do with a stronger cheese to add some flavour. It was topped with flakey salt which was a plus. The chocolate milkshake was great and we were even given the extra in another cup (ordered 2 and it made a bit extra). It was a nice touch for sure. The service was good and friendly, if a little slow but they only had 1 person working the Sunday morning. I'm not sure if the other toasties are any better, maybe worth a shot but I wouldn't go back for the ham and cheese.”

I’d read a review that said “leave your judgement at the door the food is actually great” and they weren’t wrong! It’s fabulous. Careful reading of the menu to avoid the “Australian Chinese” dishes and just ordering the actual Chinese food my mom would make and we ended up with a brilliant meal. The restaurant is run by a husband and wife team, she does front of house while he cooks. They’ve been doing it for 30years and it shows. A great restaurant with great food.”
