Firstly, we got great advice on which carpet we should choose and we are very happy with the quality and price. But the best service was when we came around to installation. Due to delays from our builder, a mistake from me and and the Xmas rush, we almost missed getting the carpet installed before Xmas day, which would have been a disaster. Baldy managed to get the install date prior to Xmas and worked pretty hard to do so. Fowles are a great company to deal with.”

The service now is also less friendly, seems that they don't care much about the retail customers anymore. After promising me that they will give me some discounts, but at checkout, they've turned around saying discount only applies to trade accounts or if I'm purchasing thousands of dollars of equipment. Apparently $500 of purchase does not worth their attention. Feel like I'm being fooled.”

What hasn't changed is their focus on value for money. When everything is getting more and more expensive, they still have things that sell for spare change. The Kmart at Templestowe does seem a bit short staffed but then again everyone is recently. They've saved us on more than one occasion with their convenience, we're happy to let it slide every now and again.”

Obviously it was too much to ask her with the eye roll and attitude like it was too much work for her for her to take me to another worker that was storing things away he was also the exact same. Really bad attitude. Acts like he didn’t have the time of day to help a customer and was too annoyed to speak to anyone. If you’re too moody to work in customer service then don’t, customers don’t need to feel like they are an inconvenience shopping at your work to pay your wages to get disgusting attitude.”

From the moment I approached the desk with my warranty she gave me a filthy look, was rude, abrupt and very passive aggressive! Unfortunately I couldn't obtain my refund as it was purchased as a gift on my mother in law's card. I was a little upset as I'd had a conversation with the online service prior to coming into store where I had explained everything and they had said I could return it no issues. Sunbury is my closest store to which I live a hours drive from. She had zero interest in reading that conversation on my phone and not ONCE not even ONCE did she apologise to me which absolutely infuriated me! She was honestly just in her element power tripping all over the place! I'd love to know who interviewed this lady for her job and thought WOW she'd be great in customer service! Here's a tip if you read this! It's better to be polite compassionate and understanding to diffuse a situation so everyone walks away calm and happy because I'm sure it pissed your day off as much as it did mine. Unless of course you enjoy being miserable which I think you might! From reading the reviews seems like I'm not only person she's upset.”
