“2 minute Christmas light show every hour on the hour until December 24th, 2023 is a fun experience. Love the holiday themed decorations. My fav is the big mouth bass wall plaque with a santa hat. Happy hour French fries are thick cut, crispy, warm and creamy on the inside. My lemondade cocktail was just so-so. It tasted like canned lemon juice and little else. I would not recommend that. The waitress is very friendly and helpful. I noticed she greeted everyone with a smile and the a "Hi friend..."”

“Omg. A vegan bar with delicious food. Everything tastes so fresh and homemade. I had the nachos and the pulled pork sandwich with a side of potato salad. The nachos were divine and definitely enough to share between 2. The pulled pork was amazing; Sweet bbq, fresh slaw, absolutely delicious. The potato salad was melt in your mouth. I’m newly vegan and am so happy there is something like this nearby. I’ll definitely be coming back to try everything on the menu.”

“This place is absolutely delicious. Every single item we ordered from the menu was so good. The service was excellent and the plates were large enough to share between three people. We ordered a few alcoholic beverages and split a handful of plates. The chicken flatbread was juicy, fluffy, but still light. The short ribs were absolutely delicious with potatoes. We also ordered the curry with bread and two desserts. You MUST get the lemon cheesecake, but only if you are committed to lemons.”

”Did not eat while there for a concert. The Shakedown is a near-perfect concert venue. I think it says "88 person capacity" at the door. Nice low stage, excellent bar selection and a great layout overall. But, for me, the highlight was the sound! They weren't afraid to push the volume to a high volume, which might be an issue for some. But, those people should bring earplugs, anyway. Not only was it loud, but crystal clear! I think the venue should invest in some more low end, though. That bass/mid/treble balance was a bit off. But, hey, it still sounded fantastic. I will be watching the schedule for upcoming shows and will look forward to coming back again (and again and again and again)”

”I’ve been meaning to come here and make this review. This bar was awesome! I’m not normally someone who visits country style bars but this places was lively and I was introduced to some awesome country music. Watching people do the line dances was also really fun. One of the bartender took great care of us and even gave us a free drink! She probably doesn’t remember us but we’re definitely planning on coming back! Especially to learn the line dances! ”Kinda sad we couldn’t give a better review. This place is so close to us and we were really hoping to love it and make it a regular spot. This was our 3rd try here. Same experience all 3 times. You seat yourself and then just kinda wait for a while until someone notices you. No one greets you or acknowledges you until your server shows up. Servers have been nice all 3 times but it’s hard to get their attention if you have a question or need something. The drinks are good but very expensive. The food is just ok. My husband ordered the jambalaya. First off it’s $27 for a bowl of rice, chicken and sausage. Kinda crazy. But what made it worse is that it came out cold. I ordered the pulled pork. It was ok, but also cold and a bit dry. Sweet flavor to it that I didn’t love. When we came here tonight it was to try it ONE more time because we really wanted to like it. When we left my husband said he didn’t want to come back. Too bad I had high hopes!”

Asked the waitress who informed us that our ticket had been lost by the kitchen, so she brought a small bowl of popcorn while we waited and offered a discount on our food. We thought that was nice until the food arrived. The pizza and mac and cheese we ordered tasted like burnt plastic, and the Mac and cheese had a grainy nasty texture. When we returned the food, the waitress got an attitude and said she couldn't give us any more "free items" that we would need to pay for our dinner. We declined anything else. Interestingly enough, we didn't receive anything for free, unless you count the small bowl of popcorn we didn't eat and didn't ask for, just a discount on the items we waited over an hour for that were quite disappointing. We paid $60 for sub-par service and even worse food. Never again.”
