”I do not recommend this place at all. I am a mechanic and own my own business. Today, I had a customer of mine call me and ask me if I could take the lug nuts off of his daughters tires. He bought brand new tires and rims for her for Christmas. Discount Tire had his daughters car in the shop and was actively working on it for 2 and a half to 3 hours. They mounted the tires on the new rims and balanced them but were not able to get the lug nuts off of the old rims and tires to install the new ones. They said they were rusted and not able to remove them. So my customer called me. The car was dropped off at my shop, and the first thing I asked was where the lug nut key was. Discount Tire failed to return the customers' property to them. I had to go to Discount Tire to pick the key up. So when I got to my shop, it took me a grand total of 4 minutes and 21 seconds to remove all the lug nuts. Why do they say they are a tire shop if they can not do a simple thing like remove the lug nuts off of a tire? I am in no way trying to promote my business at all. What I am saying is it only took a breaker bar and one hand for me to remove all the lug nuts. Now, if all of that is not bad enough, they also failed to give me the brand new set of lug nuts that went with the new rims when I went to pick up the lug key. So now I have to go back and pick that up as well. The one thing I am going to say is that the manager does not like installing tires that were not purchased from them. The following morning, I went back and asked about the lug nuts that my customer had purchased, which were specific for the rims that he had bought and asked them to do. The manager, whom I was dealing with, said he would look for them and then came back and told me that they threw them away. He said they thought that they were the old ones. I said, "How could they be the old ones since they could not remove the lug nuts?" Imagine a tire shop that can not remove the lug nuts, mind-blowing. He did hand me a new set that did not match the rims or the car, for that matter. So now my customer has on lug nuts that do not match the rims, and it looks tacky. After all the money that was spent by my customer on the rims and tires, I think it is unacceptable. What a wonderful Christmas gift. I will never visit this place again.”

”I bought my truck here in January of 2022. I came here after having problems with Vancouver Ford. When I got here they answered all my questions and never pressured me into anything. They gave me more info on everything I asked for and took my old 2017 sonata for a sweet trade in. My fiance bought her bronco from Vancouver and had nothing but issues when getting recalls and repairs done. The last straw was when the seat belt restraint system malfunctioned and Vancouver said they could only wipe the code, which fixed nothing. I told her to take the car with the warranty to westlie after that. When she called they ordered the parts and had it all fixed within an hour. I am writing this because today I went in for a fluids change in my truck where they found a leak in my rear pinion seal of my differential. I worked with Brandon who was super informative and definitely was knowledgeable in what he told me. After I left I remembered I had a warranty and called him back to see if it was covered. He said he would have to call during the work week and would have an answer to me when he returned to work Tuesday. I felt happy with how nice and easy he was to work with. After I hung up I remembered another issue with my door latch freezing and called him back. I expected after another call he would be annoyed by me but he just laughed with me and made sure to add that to the list and said to not hesitate to call if I remembered anything else. I have always felt at westlie we are treated well compared to every other dealership I have viewed it bought from. I highly suggest anyone looking for a new or used car at least try out westlie for their great atmosphere, impressive effort for the customer, and their overall amazing team. At a time when getting an appointment for a repair assessment is almost impossible he took the time to returned my call promptly. ”I would take your business elsewhere! I've had to many negative experiences here. My truck is in that shop constantly and for the same issues over and over. Each time they need to keep my truck for days/weeks, which I need the truck for work and is a big inconvenience. This last time was the final straw. Brought my truck in for a couple of different issues one of which is a motor ticking noise which has been repaired about 6 different times in the last two years. Also had a drivability issue with the truck pulling me back and forth as I accelerate and decelerate. After two weeks and $1300 later, my advisor went down the list of what was done including an alignment which I was charged for. I drive the truck a few miles down the street and it's still behaving the same as what I brought it in for, so I turn around and go right back to the service department where I told my advisor that the issue was not resolved. He had the tech come out to talk about it and the tech stated that it needed an alignment as it was badly out of alignment when they had it in the shop. I look over at the advisor who had just charged me for a alignment that was supposedly done to get told they must have forgot to send it off for the alignment. I've wrenched on cars for many years and have a bit of automotive knowledge and told them that the issue I was feeling didn't feel like just alignment issue, felt like it was an issue in the rear end. They got it in for an alignment and called me back that afternoon indicating everything was all good to go and was ready for pickup. I came in the next morning to get the truck. The alignment specs were there which showed the alignment wasn't that far off. Drove off the lot and same issue still there. At this point I'm done and also need my truck back. I go to les schwab who in the same day I got it back from the dealer were able to diagnose and repair it correctly. Another $1400 bill but am back on the road again. Would have been nice to spend just that $1400 and only a day in the shop from the beginning. I won't even go into the other past experiences along with my wife's past experiences with the service department. I'm a pretty easygoing person and have given multiple chances which I know is on me but after being charged for things that weren't done and charged for repair that didn't fix my issue I brought it in for I've gotta take my business elsewhere.”

”Made an early (930a) appointment to get tires replaced, they initially said that it would take 2hrs give or take, they came out and approached us and changed it to 45min to an hour "guaranteed" since we had an appointment. After an hour and fifteen we checked in and let them know we'd like a real honest estimate and the advisor proceeded to tell us "definitely within the next 30mins" We left right under 2.5hrs. I always kick myself when I don't go to a small business for auto and tire repairs and this is no exception. Next time I'll pay the extra fifty ish dollars for good service.”
