“We visited with a local friend while visiting from Calgary, Alberta so we have an affinity to streak. The staff was great and knowledgeable. The food was a 10 or of 10 from the salads to the steaks and sides. If you have not been you owe it to yourself to visit.”

“I was in town for a weekend and I ate lunch here twice because I liked it so much. The location is up a flight of stairs but you can take an elevator. It is right in the center of the hustle of Pike Place and since the restaurant is elevated from the ground floor you can have a nice view of the water if you are seated near the window. The restaurant has an open kitchen and many tables will allow you to watch food being prepared which is interesting. However both times I dined there I thought the grill got a bit smoky and it was a bit hard to breathe inside and I needed to cough from the smokiness so not amazing. The food was good. My favorite was the falafel as there were a variety of veggies that came with it. I also had the fishwich. The bread and side salad were incredible on that. My dining partner got a salad as a main and it looked incredible with many generous sides— bacon, avocado, blue cheese, deviled eggs (which I don’t generally love, but I did appreciate the artisan vibe they came with.”

“We attended a birthday event here recently. Service was okay, food was okay, private room ($100+tip+tax) was okay. In my opinion, everything is overpriced. >20% tip added for everything pre-tax. $54+tip+tax for a pork chop and mashed potatoes seemed unjustified. It was good, but about $18 good. Overall, this is not a place I would return to myself. I'm not worried about impressing anyone, and I've had equally good food at diners for 1/4 the cost. If being seen in the right place matters, maybe it's for you. *Update; The manager replied to this review and asked me to email them. I did send them an email providing greater details, no reply back.”

“I picked up some dinner the other day and I liked it. I wanted to get the beef brisket but they ran out so I got the chicken thigh and smoked pastrami (choice of 2 barbeques) plate. The portion was good enough for me and my wife and I took the jalapeno garlic mashed potato and Mac and cheese on the side. Overall a great place and would definitely come back.”

”Lots of options! Liked the variety of the menu without being overwhelmed. The seasonal fruit that comes with the plates is absolutely amazing and fresh 😋 We ordered different types of eggs and all unique, delicious, and generous. Service was good, too, with different types of ambiance for sitting. Cappuccino was really good. Overall a nice choice in the area”

”We picked up sandwiches from her and took them to Golden Gardens for a beach day. The sandwich itself is very easy to eat and definitely recommend if you were planning on eating at another place since it was not messy at all. I got the original fresh veggie sandwich. I was not expecting too much since I saw it was only veggies, but I was pleasantly surprised. The sauce itself made the sandwich very delicious and surprisingly savory and the pickles added a surprising crunch and worked well with the overall sandwich. Definitely recommend this sandwich.”

Budd's Broiler

”First time coming here. Came in shortly before Christmas. The place was VERY busy, and the service provided was great considering the circumstances. The Calamari was delicious as well as the bread they brought. The main course is where I was disappointed and why I'm only giving this place an overall 4 star rating. Don't get me wrong, the food was good, but I've had better fish and steak for way less money at other places.”

Prohibition Gastropub

”5☆s across the board. Highly recommended venue. Parking can be tricky, but there is free parking at the front (road side) that can fit about 5 cars in a line. Venue was clean, bathroom was clean, and overall atmosphere was great. Art from a local artist hung on the walls for sale. Tables had covers resembling planks, and there was a small lantern like candle holder in the middle. The burgers we got were juicy. The buns were crispy on the edges and tasted great. Fries were good & the onion rings were thick (Almost like a well balanced panko breaded style onion ring). See photos. 5☆ burgers. We hope to try other dishes in the future, but so far so good. If you get the flavored teas, be sure to stir it up a bit. Get the syrup mixed in well & then it's a well balanced refreshing drink. We were surprised that the venue wasn't busy because this place checks all the boxes for a great food place. Consider coming and enjoying. Customer service was excellent! We were checked on multiple times and any questions we had about the menu was answered with confidence. 5☆s! Consider coming. You'll won't be disappointed. Definitely one of the top places in Spokane for a burger. *We'll be back to try more dishes! Looking forward to the awesome hospitality.”

”The restaurant I visited that specializes in BBQ exceeded my expectations. I ordered the pulled pork and smoked chicken, and was delighted with the generous portions. The meats were tender, flavorful, and expertly smoked. Accompanying my meal were a variety of delectable sides. The French fries were crispy and perfectly seasoned, while the cheddar grits provided a rich and creamy complement. The highlight, however, was the jalapeno cheddar cornbread, which added a delightful kick to each bite. The ambiance of the place was appealing, offering both indoor and outdoor seating options. I chose to dine indoors, enjoying the rustic decor and cozy atmosphere. The waitress was attentive and provided excellent service throughout my meal. One minor inconvenience was that they only accepted card payments, but this did not diminish my overall experience. In conclusion, this BBQ restaurant impressed me with its flavorful and plentiful offerings. The combination of succulent meats, generous sides, and attentive service made for a truly enjoyable dining experience. Whether you're a BBQ enthusiast or simply craving a satisfying meal, this place is definitely worth a visit.”

Sunset Alehouse

”Lovely little spot - there’s parking out front and has a nice ambiance, very lively atmosphere on a Friday night but not overwhelming or crowded. We sat at the bar and grabbed a drink, nice beer selection but also great mix drinks - watched them muddled the drinks instead of quick mix which was fantastic. Started with the poutine tots + they were so gooey and delicious, had to take our food to go since the app was so filling. It was the stringy Beecher's cheese curds, country sausage and brown gravies, bacon and loads of green onions that really did us in”

”Maybe the staff were just vibing that night but the food we picked up from here 40 minutes before closing, was on par with some of the more expensive burger joints you’ll pay a lot more $ for. I had a storm burger with an added egg and my partner had a veggie Mariner. We also had onion rings and tater tots which were surprisingly delicious. I’m used to most places having decent to terrible onion rings but these were just perfect. Crispy yet firm and soft and juicy on the inside. This place exceeded our expectations for a rushed dinner plan. Definitely an underrated burger joint if you ask me.”

The Gilded Unicorn

”Great place, it is very rustic and it seems like you're walking into a different era. It was a little hard to talk over dinner because there was a group next to us; I'm sure the rock walls don't help suppress the sound. We were not very hungry so we just got a couple appetizers. It's roughly $12 per appetizer and $25 per main course, which is reasonable for the location and the vibe. Overall, it was around a 4.5 star experience just because of the loud sound.”

Goldfinch Tavern

”Lived up to the hype and then some. Menu was thoughtful, service knowledgeable and friendly, chef very accommodating of gluten free adjustments (had gf pasta and bread available and open to substitutions even on happy hour menu), portions were shareable, food was delectable locavore fare, drinks were innovative, and waterfront view was the cherry on top. Overall a luxurious experience at a reasonable price point. Lovely lunch with friend after the SAM Hokusai exhibit - this will be a new tradition. Park 1 block up hill at the garage on Union (under the SAM) or use valet. We were able to book able for 2 with a view with a phone call at 2.30pm on Saturday - less than 5 minute wait. Recommend reservations for peak times.”

Daniel's Broiler - Leschi

”This was our first time trying Daniel's Broiler, and i must say, it was an awesome experience. We came here on our anniversary. We forgot to make a reservation ahead of time, and thankfully, we called earlier that day, and they were able to add us in. The representative we spoke to was nice and professional. When we got there, we were able to find parking. We were greeted with a "Good evening" from a nice gentleman in the front. Told him we had a reservation, and we were then directed to a great seat overlooking Lake Washington and Bellevue. Our server Michael was nice, and after he asked us if this was our first time, he then proceeded to tell us about the USDA Prime steaks they offered and suggested good pairings with it. We ordered the Bacon-wrapped Scallops in Crostini and Fried Calamari for appetizers. The Calamari was delicious, along with the cocktail sauce and Lemon Aoili. The breading falls off the squid on some of them, but it was still delicious. The scallops were good. i guess I'm just used to the average sized scallops because the pieces we got were huge. i had to cut them in half to at least make them bite-sized. lol. but nonetheless, both appetizers were delicious. We then got some warm bread. the outside was a little tough for me to bite into, but it was still good warm because when it got cold, then it got really hard. Then we finally got our New York Steak and Ribeye. I ordered my New York steak well done, but it came medium well. Michael wanted to make sure if i wanted it sent back, but i didn't mind. The outside of my steak tasted a little burnt, but the inside was just perfect for me. The garlic mashed potatoes it came with were good. so smooth and creamy. I just wish there's a little more garlic in it because i barely tasted it. My boyfriend's Rib eye was cooked to his liking, and the Signature Oscar Style topping was delicious. I got a bite. 😁 We believe it was the manager who came by a few times asking us how everything was. We got so full, but i wanted to cleanse my palate, so i asked Michael what kind of desserts they have, and because we are celebrating pur anniversary, they gave us a complimentary Coconut Fudge sundae. We are not a huge fan of anything coconut, but i honestly enjoyed it. The fudge was so good with the coconut ice cream. 👌 Our bill came as expected, and for the price we paid, to the service we received and overall experience, i believed it was worth every penny. We're already planning future get togethers here. 😁 Thank you for the hospitality, Daniel's Broiler. We'll see you again soon.”

”The pancake was incredible! Definitely an all around winner with our group. The staff is great, the coffee was nice, and everyone liked their food. Individually we got the seasonal hash (a bit spicy), the loco moco, and the eggs Benedict and then split the pancake and had leftovers. It was really wonderful.”

”First time with the family. The server "Jessica " was awesome, the wait was short, the drinks were awesome. Both the chicken tenders and the fish and chips were great. The tarter sauce rocked. Had the King crab special, which was good if it wasn't for the King crab, I can honestly say it was the worst I have ever had and the pre seasoning was way too much. The lobster tail, snow crab, clams, and other items were a good value, BUT not the King didn't order, over cooked and salty.”
