“Loved the place!! Living in IL for close to 30 years and moving to middle TN we have definitely missed real deal Chicago style food. I got the Italian beef with Mozz cheese and had it kissed in the sauce which was awesome but I think next time I'll get it fully dipped. Also had to of course get a Chicago dog and it was true all the way down to the relish. Awesome place and I even got flack for wearing my STL cardinals shirt which I assumed I would.”

“My husband and I eloped in Tennessee with our family and decided to use The Dancing Bear Bistro for our intimate dinner following the ceremony. We were giving recommendations through our elopement package and we were so glad we chose the dancing bear! We worked with Nicole for months in advance and we were blown away with every aspect of this place! She did an absolutely beautiful job of setting everything up and making our ideas come to life. The atmosphere of this restaurant is warm and inviting and was just what we wanted for our special day! The food was incredible and everyone in our party raved about it! The service was top notch as well! We had the sweetest server, she did an amazing job for our party! There is nothing bad to say about this place and I would definitely come back when visiting Tennessee again!!”

“During my recent visit to Toyama Japanese Steak House, I had a mixed dining experience. The highlight was definitely the sushi – we ordered the 'Pretty Woman', 'Rainbow', and 'Philadelphia' rolls. Each of these selections was quite good, offering a satisfying taste of what the restaurant's sushi menu has to offer. However, the overall Japanese cuisine experience was average – not particularly outstanding, but not disappointing either. For appetizers, we tried the calamari and fried soft-shell crabs. The calamari was a pleasant surprise, cooked well with a nice flavor. Unfortunately, the fried soft-shell crabs were a different story. They were unappetizing to the point where we couldn't eat them. Despite expressing our dissatisfaction, we were still charged the full price for this dish, which was a bit disheartening. In conclusion, Toyama Japanese Steak House offers decent sushi options but has room for improvement in other areas of their menu and customer service, particularly in how they handle customer feedback on their dishes.”

“We moved here about a year ago. We have heard good things about the food at Edwards. We have struggled to get in though. We finally landed a table in the piano bar on Saturday 11/18. We had to sit at a dirty table for about 10 minutes. The bar tender finally came wiped the table complained about being the only bar tender for the entire restaurant. He said it would take a few before he returned. After more than 30 minutes with no service, drinks or even water, we went to the front to see about a table on the restaurant’s main dining area. The older lady at the counter who was less than pleasant said sorry and continued to make excuses for the poor service. My daughter walked to Strawberry Ally got a table and we left after 40 minutes of poor service and excuses. We eat out frequently and have visitors from time to time. Sorry to say we will not likely be back and would discourage others from going here. If you want a taste of the experience you are going to have call and listen to the voicemail for reservations that will tell you everything you need to know about the experience you’re going to have. Plenty of other great places downtown to choose from.”

“We ate here last night and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We shared the 18 ounce bone in ribeye that was cooked medium rare to medium which is how we wanted it. The collard greens and potatoes au gratin were delicious. Our server, Chris, was very attentive and explained everything on the menu to us. The hostess was very nice and seated us promptly. The atmosphere was wonderful. We highly recommend this restaurant!”

“Let’s be honest here. I’m pretty fond of cheap, sticky-floored, mediocre eats, but occasionally I do trade in my sweat pants for a dress and go have a nice meal. This is an excellent place for such an endeavor. First impressions: I appreciated the classic good taste decor, accentuated by warm lighting. We were immediately greeted upon arrival and sat immediately, despite being 15 mins early for our reservation. (Sorry! Thanks!) We were met immediately by our server, who was genuinely friendly and never let us lack for anything the whole time we were there. (I wish I knew her name! She was amazing! Like BOOM she was on it.) We started with a nice crab & lobster dip, and some delicious (and properly strong!) cocktails. Then I got the filet mignon with potato puree and truffle sauce, and it was so good that I kind of inhaled it if I’m being honest. Finally, I had the dark chocolate pot de creme, and it was delicious. Everything was perfect, and we were so happy with our meal and the service that we booked a future reservation before we even left our table. So yeah needless to say we will be returning. Yum! Edit: Our server’s name was Jamie! She is awesome :)”

“We both tried the sampler menu item. It was 5 staggered courses per person and they suggest more than one person at the table orders it, probably to help save space and portion sizes on the table. it consisted of the focaccia appetizer, the short rib lettuce wraps, the seasonal salad (not pictured), and they give you a choice of entree. I tried the halibut special. The meal was finished with a carrot cake and i can say, without a doubt, that there wasn’t a single bite we didn’t absolutely LOVE!! Everything was beyond delicious and i cannot express how much we loved this restaurant. the cocktail menu had some fun drinks on it. i’d recommend the “touchdown interruption dance” drink, which was all the best parts of the most amazing cocktail, and of course the espresso martini! it’s a little upscale and tends to get busy on the weekends so reservations are the best way to go. i will be bringing my family and friends when they come visit!”

Jean-George for what an expert chef you are I was expecting at least a nice place to eat your wonderful creations! “Pretty darn good buffet. You pay for it, but it’s absolutely delicious! Only reason for 4 stars is some of the food items were quite bland. I was ready to grab a heaping plate of those garlic mashed potatoes though! Breakfast was great as well. Staff are friendly, and the place is very clean. Of course, you can’t forget the imprinted waffle with the Elvis syrup 😁 Too bad they don’t have a waffle iron with Elvis’ face!”
