“Cafe Roze is a relaxing but delicious experience! A friend & I were visiting from out of town where we saw this spot by the rental we were staying at. After peaking into the windows, we decided this would be a great spot to grab a quick breakfast & we were absolutely thrilled about how great it was. The environment of the restaurant was relaxing but provided a modern cozy vibe. The staff made us feel welcomed. Every table was full, but once we sat, it didn't feel overcrowded with the tables next to us. I ordered an iced vanilla latte, which was spot on. They had a small beer list but provided some local options, which we tried as well. My breakfast sandwich was delicious. It tasted so fresh & it was the perfect way to start my morning. The side salad had a solid dressing but the lettuce tasted a bit off. I didn't finish it due to that reason. Overall, if I'm ever back in the Nashville area, I look forward to stopping here again. I highly recommend it for your breakfast & caffeine needs!”

That really took away from the delicious flavor of it. Definitely don't like mushy pancakes. “Have dined at this restaurant about a dozen times since August 2023. Ordered Chicken Buriritos. Came with SHREDDED chicken, stuffed filled. Unfortunately, the presentation did not match taste. Shredded chicken, though plentiful, lacked seasoning and was dry and therefore too tough to chew. Had invited a couple to dine with us, and they ordered a Nacho plate, forget which one. They were not too impressed with their choice. Will be go back? Probably, because it's convenient. BUT will not order anything with shredded chicken.”

“Xiao Bao is such a wonderful hidden gem in East Nashville. The decor/ambiance is unbeatable, and their food is quite tasty and well-priced. The menu is family style- so we ordered the noodles, beef rib, and the eggplant. The noodles were very good, a mix between an Italian/Asian comfort food dish with a little kick of spice! The eggplant was SO good, and the beef rib portion was HUGE, and a very heavy dish- so balance it out with a salad. We took some of the beef home for leftovers, and after refrying, it tasted even better! The staff is great, and the service is efficient. I would definitely return & try the bao buns! Lunch begins at 11am, dinner at 4pm. There’s a special brunch menu on Sunday & Monday! No reservations, first come first serve.”

“Amazing outdoor atmosphere and great food. Lou was an amazing place to have a meal whether you are looking for lite food or something to fill you up. They also have plenty of options for vegans which is a plus. We bought a bottle of wine and really enjoyed the food pairing as well. My only advice is to look for parking along the building or behind the "garage" in the back of the property as it does fill up fast.”

It was 5 staggered courses per person and they suggest more than one person at the table orders it, probably to help save space and portion sizes on the table. it consisted of the focaccia appetizer, the short rib lettuce wraps, the seasonal salad (not pictured), and they give you a choice of entree. I tried the halibut special. The meal was finished with a carrot cake and i can say, without a doubt, that there wasn’t a single bite we didn’t absolutely LOVE!! Everything was beyond delicious and i cannot express how much we loved this restaurant. the cocktail menu had some fun drinks on it. i’d recommend the “touchdown interruption dance” drink, which was all the best parts of the most amazing cocktail, and of course the espresso martini! it’s a little upscale and tends to get busy on the weekends so reservations are the best way to go. i will be bringing my family and friends when they come visit!”

He had the holy cow cake and it speaks for itself amazing. Small town just off the square everyone is nice to each other and you feel just comfortable be there. I was ready to grab a heaping plate of those garlic mashed potatoes though! Breakfast was great as well. Staff are friendly, and the place is very clean. Of course, you can’t forget the imprinted waffle with the Elvis syrup 😁 Too bad they don’t have a waffle iron with Elvis’ face!”
