“I want to give many kudos to the housekeeping staff at Hampton Hendersonville for their honesty. We always stay at this hotel when we come in to visit my son and family, (which is often) who live a couple blocks away. Besides loving everything about this hotel and its staff, we just encountered amazing honesty of the housekeeping staff. We just checked out yesterday (1/15/24). Back in Chicago today, we realized my husband left his gift bag with expensive cologne in it. I called the front desk and they had it there. My son just picked it up. I am very grateful to the person who found it in room and turned it in. You are amazing. Thank you so much! I was a fan of Hampton before this trip, but now a life-long fan!!!”

“My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights recently. Overall, it was just okay. The location is great if you want to walk the streets of Gatlinburg. The room wasn’t very clean. The A/C - Heating didn’t work great. House keeping was horrible! They came to clean 2 of the 4 days we stayed. In the 2 days they came, they barely made the bed, did not replace any of the items we used, toilet paper ran out on the 3rd day and wasn’t replaced, towels weren’t replaced, and trash wasn’t emptied. The breakfast was pretty good and the staff at the front desk were nice. Coffee was great!”

“Staff was amazing and very friendly. Room was clean. Breakfast was good. Great hotel. The 4 stars is due to the bathroom. 1st- the bathroom door is a slider. It is the closet door that slides to cover the closet and/or the bathroom. Not an issue IF it closed the actual bathroom off. The door might as well be open. No seal. Everyone can hear your business and peek in if they want. No way to get privacy. 2nd- the faucet! The hard spray is annoying. The first time you turn it on be prepared for a spray of water on the counter and YOU. Think you'll remember it the next time you go to turn it on? Ha. Nope. Overall wasn't horrible.”

“Had a room reserved for multiple night stay, had to leave after first night. Manager on duty Don was a real loser and doesn't belong in the hospitality business. Totally offended my girl because she asked for more pancake batter ( not even for her but the 2 people behind her in line). Also no Forks and when we asked for 1 Don said No. Would not recommend this place to anyone. And while on phone with Hyatt corporate office they hung up on me while giving them feedback on the situation. Rooms were average and kinda dated. Floors were nasty in several areas. $18 parking was a first for me. Never had to pay to parking at a $200 night hotel. We moved our stay next door to Hampton Inn and it was 5 stars! Cheaper ($179),nicer, cleaner,better breakfast and no Don!”

“I stayed at this hotel recently for a weekend while I was running a couple of races in the local area. The location is great and near to a lot of great places to eat and useful stores. The grounds were clean, the lobby area was nice and overall, my room was very nice. My only complaint is that my room (326) was "damp" the entire time that I was there. I'm not sure if this was the case in all rooms, but mine definitely had a humidity problem. With that said, I'll likely stay here again. Also....FREE laundry machines.....GREAT.”

“This hotel is an embarrassment to the Staybridge brand. When I say this hotel didn’t live up to expectations I don’t mean just that it wasn’t worth the price..I’ve stayed in $60 budget roadside motels that were better. The entire building is obviously older and has not been maintained. Dimly lit hallways, broken tile flooring, the parking lot smelled of Marijuana and the hallways smelled like someone had tried to get the cigarette smell out and had failed. We went to our room and immediately upon opening the door were hit with a wall of cigarette stench. We immediately went downstairs and asked for a different room. The second room, didn’t smell of cigarette smoke but was still musty. The shower leaked, the sheets for the pullout couch had literal holes in them and the heater sounded like a train. The only reason we stayed is because it was late and everything else was booked up. I can’t comment on breakfast because we got up early and left. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt that it was amazing..”

“I have stayed at this hotel at least 2x. I have to say that the front desk staff is very patient and friendly. The rates were pretty good. The bed was nice and comfortable. Rooms were clean, but there weren't many towels. We were told housekeeping would attend to us, but an engineer or maintenance person had to attend to us. They said they were short staffed. Why would management do that when there was an event going on with over 100 people attending? Regardless, it's a great location and close to the mall. I will most likely come again.”

“Leisure trip stayed in this hotel for while in town for thanksgiving. Concierge: Over all they were great, when we called and needed something they were very attentive. Location: The location of the hotel was very convenient we were a 12min walk from Beale St. Room: The room was very spacious and had everything we needed iron, ironing board, mini refrigerator etc. Bathroom: The bathroom was interesting, the door does not give you a lot of privacy. It is a sliding door and is the same size was the door opening and since it is on a rail their is a significant gape that you could clearly see the person in the restroom. Also, the door wouldn’t stay close whenever we would slide it to close. The shower was small, I’m 5’7” and felt a little claustrophobic in the shower. The sink was oddly tucked in deep and if you had to use the sink you have to lean in a bit. Cleanliness: For the most part the lobby was clean and hotel room was somewhat clean. We would see stains throughout the room on the wall and floor in the room. Parking: They offer parking in the hotel parking garage for $22 a night or if you’re lucky and see an open spot in front of the hotel you can park there as well which is significantly cheaper.”

“My central air unit went out and we had to hurry up and find a hotel and my husband stumbled across here. The hotel is beautiful. It’s clean, quiet and in a good area. The front desk clerk was nice but the bartender was too tier! She was so sweet, bringing us water and snacks and she just made up feel welcome after the rough day we had. She definitely made us want to come back!!”

Elevated ceilings, huge windows with floor-to-ceiling blackout curtains, and furnishings like marble-topped side tables made it a beautiful suite. Rocky is the best host, a local legend! He can make you a drink, give you interesting recommendations, or tell you a great story. Make sure you meet him if you stay there or if you stop into Luna!”

“Where to start…walked in the room and immediate crackling of the tile floor that had all popped up from what I assume was a previous bathroom flooding. You can smell the mold. The bathroom was dirty and disgusting, the hot water took 15 minutes to finally come through. Caulking around the tub was deteriorating and black. The toilet seat was slipped off to one side. Next, the mini fridge was producing an awful noise as if it was going out, this would’ve made it impossible for me to sleep so I pulled it out and unplugged. The A/C unit was also so loud that you had to double the volume on the TV to hear it and when the compressor kicked in it would startle you. The bed was like sleeping on a brick. And oh, the smoke alarm in hallway kept beeping and no one would change the **** batteries…THEN at 6am the next morning there was an awfully loud squealing noise coming from the hallway wall/ceiling that woke me up and went on forever. Needless to say I didn’t get much sleep. Requested new room on different floor after providing evidence of the issues. New room was a little better, attempted to take a nap prior to a meeting I had but all you could hear was the housekeepers yelling back and forth in Spanish in the hallway….DO NOT STAY HERE!!!”
