“We recently stayed with our children. We’ve been to Pigeon Forge many times but was our first time staying here. We love the restaurant next door so we loved the proximity. The hotel lot was extremely full and we barely found a spot to park. The hallway smelled like cigarettes. And the overall cleanliness was not there. Everything was just dirty. Bathroom was tiny and almost could not shut door while in the bathroom. Everything was extremely dated. Pictures make it seem a lot better than it is. I’m glad we only stayed for one night.”

“AMAZING PLACE. Very friendly and helpful staff. Sites are big and very well maintained. We had a patio site with chairs and deluxe fire pit. We made fun memories with our family. We played BINGO in the rec room on Saturday night. 😃 Restrooms and showers updated. Go eat at the woodshed if you are starving or if it is before 5:00 PM order a pizza at the office and they will deliver it to your site. Kat was a hoot to chat with and the other staff in the office were helpful and friendly..”

“Loved staying here. Got to talk to the owners at the check in counter. Stayed two nights. Great rates. Very clean. They were getting ready to do floor remodeling for the entire lodge the day after we left according to staff. Had a gas fireplace in our room.”

“Mt. McCloud use to e a beautiful place to have dinner and walk around the grounds for the beautiful sunsets and scenery. Now, since the restaurant closed they are charging $100.00 to go up there for the views. Four years ago my son's first date with his girlfriend he wanted to take her back up there to propose and the only way they would let him up there ( they have a guard at entrance to mountain) was to charge him $100 for 10 minutes of propose, nothing special but to get on one knee. Unbelievable, for that money they could have had a photographer taking pictures for them, but nothing like that did they offer, $100 for ten minutes of a view. It used to be a nice place to go, so different now.”

“Quite a nice hotel really. Better than I expected. The beds and pillows are super clean and comfy. The decor throughout the building is very contemporary and everything looks recently remodeled. I enjoyed the free arcade in the lobby although the Cruise World driving game gas pedal is broken. The restaurant and bar is a great place to grab a bite and catch a game. Good location. I walked to the Music City Center for a business conference every day and I enjoyed the short walk. The gym is great and it seems like I’m the only person in the building that actually used it - so that was a bonus to workout alone for a change. The staff members behind the front desk are hit or miss. Some of them are friendly and helpful, but others will avoid eye contact if at all possible. Overall a great stay and highly recommended.”

“Came here for Christmas 2023. Cabin was not clean before we came. Just felt dirty.Unless it was “straighten up.” Notice that upstairs was not cleaned because there was sticky residue everywhere on the floor. The rugs are wore out. Problems that we had: Not cleaned, clogged sink, pool heater was not on, arcade game not working, rugs are wore out, there is no view of the Smokey mountains just woods, hot tub smelled like pond water. Very dusty. Needs a deep cleaning. Issues solved: hot tub and pool heater”

“My experience at this hotel was excellent. The rooms are not high-end, but they are very well equipped with mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and decent personal items (soaps, shampoo, etc.) The room/bathroom were very clean and the sheets and towels were clean and fresh. The staff at this location were all friendly and welcoming. For the price I paid, I feel this was a very good value. Location is good to Cades Cove and many trails in the area. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to others.”

“We stayed at the wandering creek and it was lovely! Great central location not too far from GSNP but also not right in all the hustle and bustle! The hot tub is amazing overlooking the creek! Love that it is pet friendly as our girl loved the creek as much as us! The only thing we did not love was the lack of privacy on the back deck from the cabin directly to the right that pretty much shares a deck with you. Even some sort of privacy screen/fence would be nice!”
