“We had a great stay at Eagles Resort. Booking and checkin processes were smooth. I liked that we did not have to go to an office and wait for keys etc. We were able to go directly to our cabin to enjoy our stay. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed and more! It’s closer to the main strip of activities which made it so much better for us to travel to and from activities without a long upward drive to a cabin. The staff at Eagles resort were attentive to calls and questions. The checkout process was smooth also with text/call for checkout instead of office checkout. Very very pleased with our experience and we look forward to future stays!”

Enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit, watching local wildlife (raccoons, squirrels, wild turkeys) the easy fire place in the living room, the Christmas decorations, the handicapped-accessible cabin and downstairs bedroom and bathroom. Truly a wonderful experience for our family of 5. Highly recommend! Plenty of basics provided as well.”

“2023 Rented A201 When we opened the door overwhelmed by musty smell.You need to bring some febreeze.After awhile smell disapaated.Spent Christmas with husband and parents.It was clean and view was breathtaking.They have salt but bring pepper.I don't think I would rent again unfortunately due to the noise above us.Thin walls and kept hearing jumping walking and banging all night above us! People next door played Latin music 🎶 so loud wall was booming and party was loud.Another day building alarms want off due to people down from us cooking setting off building twice in complex. Wanted a quiet setting but seemed like it was just a lot of people who rented who were just loud or screaming back and forth.Another evening screaming older child sounded like she was being beaten for a good 30min.We have come Gatlinburg alot and first time renting from DeerRidge.Other than pro's it would have been ok but would not get downstairs room again.Also, they need to change dryer because of fire hazard.I took a picture of it but was not able to add.”

“We had a great experience at Cove Creek RV Resort. We had initially chosen the lot online, but arrived at the resort late, at 9:00 p.m., just to find that our RV was too long for the lot we had chosen. Upon calling the office at 9:30 p.m. and getting no answer (of course because it was so late), someone called me back within just a few minutes, and we were given our choice of other available lots, so thankfully we were able to move our RV to a more suitable lot. We had access to 50 amp electrical outlet, water, septic, and wifi. They also have a laundry room and bathhouse. The covered bridge was so cute. And we love that the resort is very pet friendly. The resort was very clean and very quiet, and we enjoyed our stay very much -- so much so that we stayed an extra day.”

Didn't have time to enjoy the recreational portion of facilities. Bed were comfortable. Appliances were well taken care of. Gas fireplace was relaxing. Great place to stay outside of Gatlinburg.”

I understand parking can be limited in older, downtown locations but when you check in at 5:00 and nothing is available and their only recommendation is a library a block down the street? “The hotel was very clean. Our room was clean. We had 2 queen beds on the 3rd floor. Our room was on the smaller side. It said it slept 5, which with a rollaway bed it did. However, it was an extremely tight fit with the rollaway bed in there. The only place to put the extra bed was between the 2 queen beds, which left no walking room there. Definitely don't recommend trying to fit 5 people in the room as it was incredibly cramped and 3 of our 5 were children under 12. The room did have a small desk and 2 chairs as well as a microwave and fridge. The fridge got nice and cold, which was great. They do have adjoining rooms which would be nice when we travel with our older teens. We didn't notice a lot of hallway noise at night or early in the morning, and since our room was across from the elevator, I was surprised and glad for that. The pool was nice sized, and while it was on the chilly side, it was clean, and my kids still enjoyed it. Overall, we had a great stay, and we would stay here again as it was a nice hotel just on the smaller side when it came to the room we had. The staff was pleasant, which is always a great thing :).”

“This is my favorite hotel in the Smokies. The one in Gatlinburg is nicer, but way too expensive. This one is reasonably priced and convenient to all the mountains have to offer. I like the room layout, which is basically a suite. The beds are separated by a restroom, which makes it seem more like two rooms, although they cannot be shut off from each other. Breakfast is the typical HIE fare. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, plenty of outlets, helpful staff, view of the Smokies. What's not to love?”

“I was a bit let down with this Hyatt. We've stayed in several Hyatts while traveling, but this one was a bit underwhelming. The breakfast was great! Plenty of options, well-stocked, attentive staff, and good coffee. The breakfast was definitely some of the best hotel food we've ever had. We rented two rooms. They were reasonably clean, but really needed a deep clean. The halls and elevator needed to be vacuumed, and there was a build-up of dirt in the corners in both rooms. Again, overall, clean, it just needed a bit more attention to small details.”

“Good stuff: The staff was lovely and very helpful. The location is great. The room was nice and dark and the room temperature was easy to adjust and maintain. The quick breakfast offerings were plentiful and mostly portable, which is very convenient if you're in a hurry. Not good stuff: The elevators seem rickety and have spongy floors. The hallways are not well-insulated from sound, so amorous couples beware - you will be overheard by anyone walking down the hall (unfortunately, that is not an assumption on my part). The mattress in my room was cupped on the sides with a hard mound down the center, which tells me it's well past its replacement age (it was not restful sleep). The water pressure in the shower was really low until I rotated the shower head to center, which then delivered excessive water pressure (there are only two settings - no in-between). So, great staff, great location, great breakfast, but it's not great for a good night's rest.”

“I am giving this hotel two stars and I believe that is being generous. My family and I stayed at this hotel when we came back home for my Uncle's funeral. We had 10 rooms reserved. However, upon arrival, we discovered that 8/10 rooms were not cleaned properly. My Cousin had to be switched to another room because her original was disgusting and seemed like it had not even been cleaned. I had to contact one of the staff to change the sheets in my room as it appeared and smelled as if they had not been changed. Also, worst of all was the treatment we received by certain staff. After burying my Uncle, my family and I returned to the hotel to eat and have fellowship after the loss of a loved one. We had already received the "okay" ahead of time to use the lobby for set up. However, during our evening, I noticed the woman who'd worked behind the bar earlier that morning to serve breakfast, taking pictures of my family and I. She then returned to a woman at the front, who I assume was the manager, and began showing her the pictures and appearing annoyed. Myself, my Mother, and my Aunt approached them to question why she had been taking pictures of us and to please delete them. She initially denied this but soon admitted it. We remained respectful to them during this time. However, the woman who had been taking the pictures began shouting at us and so did the woman behind the desk and threatening to have the police called and have us removed from the hotel. She stated that she could not open the bar with us sitting there. To clarify, it was an open bar and only two of my cousins were sitting at the bar. In fact we were all waiting for the bar to open to buy drinks. Clearly that was not going to happen after such behavior. I clearly asked why she could not come over there and ask us to move so that she could open the bar or speak with us like human beings instead of immediately treating us like criminals. This was truly a disheartening encounter. Also to clarify, my family and I are black, and the two women that harassed and berated a grieving family were white women. The woman who took the pictures was a thin white woman with short blonde hair in a bob cut, who appeared to be in her 50s, who served breakfast from behind the bar in the mornings and tended the bar in the evenings. I did not get her name. The other woman, who worked behind the front desk was a shorter white woman with long brown hair and looked to be in her 20's or 30s. By far this was the worst experience I have ever had at any hotel. In fact, it was so bad that it has caused me to write this review, when I usually do not take the time to write reviews. My advice is, if you are a family of color or value clean guest accommodations, AVOID this hotel at all costs.”

“Very disappointing stay in what we expected to be a "luxury" hotel. The rooms were small with lack of lighting. The bathroom had one small mirror, fluorescent/bright lighting that made getting ready very difficult. There was no coffee maker in the room, view was terrible (even though we paid for the highest level room available below a suite), and customer service was absolutely awful. We were one minute past our checkout time and they used a loud tone over the loud speaker in our room to "nudge" us along to get out - this on a Monday AM during low season. With MANY other luxury options in Nashville, I'll most definitely never stay in this hotel again. It was basically a Holiday Inn with some nice finishes.”

“I have stayed at this hotel at least 2x. I have to say that the front desk staff is very patient and friendly. The rates were pretty good. The bed was nice and comfortable. Rooms were clean, but there weren't many towels. We were told housekeeping would attend to us, but an engineer or maintenance person had to attend to us. They said they were short staffed. Why would management do that when there was an event going on with over 100 people attending? Regardless, it's a great location and close to the mall. I will most likely come again.”
