“We stayed 4 nights and the service was excellent. Staff is very friendly and accommodating, the breakfast is great, and we enjoyed several good meals from the Grill onsite. The sheets and linens were clean, no dust in the room, bathroom was clean, towels were large and fluffy. The rooms do have a little age on them. We were very comfortable and will stay here again.”

“We spent the weekend here to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We would come back, but with some changes to our reservation most likely. Pros: Location is fantastic, close enough to be within 15 minutes of pretty much everything. But far enough away from the casino crowds. You can walk right out onto the beach. Beach views are great, there is a boardwalk right off the parking garage that you can take to walk to about 4-5 restaurants within less than a mile. Staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Definitely well trained and knowledgeable. Room was very spacious and super clean. It was much larger than any hotel room or even suite I've stayed in before. And we were very impressed with how clean it was. Loved the Terrace Bar for drinks and watching the sunset. Cons: The photos on the website were a bit misleading in terms of what sort of view you were going to get. At least, that was the case in our room. We reserved a partial ocean view, which technically we got. But when they say partial, it was probably less than 10% of our view. We were on the front of the building, more than half of our view was of the street. This also meant that we had a lot of street noise at night, making it hard to fall asleep. And we were here in the off season, I can't imagine how much worse it would be in the summer. The bed could use an upgrade, the mattress wasn't very comfortable. (Though the pillows were excellent). Parking garage was hard to get out of if you pulled in and it was full, always had to park in one of the side parking lots. The continental breakfast was just eh, nothing special about it and pretty much on par with other hotels. But the lady that was handling the breakfast bar was very nice and super accommodating. If you're planning to book a room, either spring for the full ocean view or request that your partial ocean view be on the fifth floor or above. But all in all, we'd definitely come back for a weekend trip with or without the kids. Seems to be very family friendly.”

“I had a wonderful stay at this location. Every request was met. The staff were friendly. Very nice room and amenities. I had only two issues during my stay. I called the day before to clarify if the pool was operational and was told yes, only to be told that they were waiting on a part to come in to fix the heated pool. The second issue I had was that I was on a work trip and asked to provide a card for the file for incidentals during our stay. Unfortunately for us, it put a hold on our account for the room stay. The charge was removed in their system directly afterwards but that caused other issues with our account since that money was held up for the week causing other issues.”

”I didn’t enjoy my stay here. The rooms are nice enough but outside that it’s a real let down. At 6am the little desk alarm went off. After an exhausting thanksgiving I really wanted a sleep. I informed the front desk and she blithely said “oh you should have unplugged that when you got in!”. Every clerk was cold and unfriendly. To a point it felt odd. The check out clerk barely spoke a word as she checked me out, no greeting or thank you. Often the desk was empty. The breakfast buffet was decent food, tho they should have display labels so you don’t have to open them and the food gets cold. So if you don’t get early expect it to be very cold. Also my room wasn’t turned down, no service. Overall I felt the place was needlessly self important and at best a gussied up holiday inn with less friendly staff.”
