Good selection of pastries including almond croissant, butter croissant, chocolate croissant, and great little cakes. It might be helpful to have one or two more pastries to choose from, but really loved my blackberry danish and white chocolate cranberry cookie. I would order these cookies to take anywhere for meetings, events, etc. Friendly people.”

”Our family of six dined here on a Thursday evening. The location was nice with a view of the water. I had the grouper with the squash casserole on the side. It was wonderful. However it was topped with shrimp in a sauce and the shrimp was not deveined. YUCK!!! My son had the fried catfish which was also good. My other son has pasta noodles with Marinara sauce and cheese. He also enjoyed it. Another member of our party had the stuffed flounder, and it was very good. Two members of our party ordered the seafood casserole. It’s a combination of seafood. There was no crawfish in it. It was mostly shrimp that were NOT deveined again. It was absolutely terrible. What restaurant charges $30 for a dish and serves the shrimp not deveined. It’s was not edible. It also taste like frozen shrimp not fresh gulf shrimp. When we went to pay our bill, there was a 6% service charge on our receipt for using a card. We were not informed at any point that this would be added for using a card. They just did it, and we saw it in the receipt. We would have paid cash had we been told about the service charge for the card.”

Can't wait until it's a bit cooler and we can sit outside on the porch again. Everyone here is friendly, welcoming, and helpful. I've only ever had the shrimp remoulade poboy and it is delicious! My daughter usually gets fried shrimp, but today she wanted fried shrimp on the kids salad and they were able to accommodate that. Today is the first time we've gotten dessert and boy were we missing out! The caramel white chocolate bread pudding is the best bread pudding I've ever had. Absolutely fantastic! Already trying to come up with excuses to go get some more!”

”After a month plus of buying coffee and showering each morning before work at this establishment; I was approached by an elderly white women not wearing any company identification and who didn’t introduce herself before asking me and I quote “do I mind telling her what I’m doing hanging out here.” I asked her if the community name brand coffee in my right hand which is the exclusive name brand sold by the truck stop and the recipes for my coffee and shower in my left hand weren’t enough to clue her in? She called the police and requested that I be trespassed without any reason why. I’ve eaten at this place numerous times in my life and have never had an issue. The lady running the registers at the showers and store in the back of the building from the restaurant vouched for me that I was simply a paying customer. When the police arrived, the two deputies refused to give their name or badge numbers, both were wearing highly wrinkled uniforms that didn’t seem to fit too well and one deputy placed a dip in his mouth while conversing with me. The elderly white lady later claiming to be the GM under the owner Tim Burton said that the showers and restaurant are for truckers only but the lady running the register at the showers said nothing could be further from the truth and that the majority of people who spend money at this establishment have never driven a eighteen wheeler in their life and that she clearly targeted me for a reason that she’s yet to answer for. So instead of spending over $200 a month for showers and coffee alone; I now shower at a 24 hour gym for $30 a month. The lady claiming to be the general manager also refused to refund my shower that I already paid for. She told me that they don’t like my kind at their place of business and never explained what she meant by my kind. I told her that I’m the account executive at RNR Tire Express of Meridian, MS and that I’ve never had a random women approach me in such an awkward manner. I showered at this place between 7:30 and 8:00 each morning before starting my work day at 9:00 AM sharp each morning. I’ve been back to this establishment to eat twice since the incident occurred and the same elderly white women while working, was too inept to recognize me since I wasn’t wearing a hat like I was the morning this incident occurred. It’s laughable at best.”

”15/10!! Went for brunch at Big Bad Breakfast and was lucky enough to be sat at Snackbar. Maggie and Trip were awesome and made us feel so welcomed, they shared the Snackbar menu and we decided to go back for dinner. Every single thing we ate and drank, and every employee we interacted with was top notch. Some of the best oysters we’ve ever had, the mushrooms and French onion soup were phenomenal and the whiskey sours were some of the best I’ve ever had. It was the highlight of the trip, literally cannot wait to go back!”
