“Great old fashioned (in a good way) drive-in restaurant. Everything is made to order. The company was actually founded in1926, but didn't survive the onslaught of the fast food places. There are only a few locations surviving. But, they do sell the best darn Root Beer in the world, made the original way. Check out this location for very reasonably priced food. Even a grilled cheese sandwich for $1.00. One can leave this place full after spending less than $5.00.”

“Pub Style Eatery This is one of those local, scratch kitchen spots (to me anyways). Always a great visit so I wanted to review our meal for those wondering. Not a huge space but I recommend the bar area for some drinks and TVs playing the local games. We chose the Buffalo Chicken Salad and the Gyro Salad The spice in either the buffalo sauce or the dressing was Perfect flavor and HUGE portions. Also loaded with REAL bacon pieces! The Gyro Salad was VERY good as well. Loaded with veggies and feta to make the perfect mix. I kept with the House Tzatziki and I can't say how good it was. Flavor pair perfectly with the rest just as it would with traditional Mediterranean style cuisine. Also it was HUGE and barely at it all. Well left some lettuce behind We got the Gingerbread Martini and the Gimlet. Both delicious but I will say the Gingerbread was a seasonal drink. If you go now you might be able to get one! Service was VERY attentive by the initial server and 3 more coming to check on us. All in all, Zachary's never disappoints and we will be back when in the area. PS- they have Daiquiris as well”

“Really great WHEN THEY HAVE FOOD. The last 3 times I’ve been there they were out of items I wanted…especially the baked potato. If they would just keep more supplied and quit disappointing customers it would be excellent. I love fixing my own potato at the bar and their fish sandwich is excellent. The burgers have an overly charbroiled flavor that could use dialing down but are rather good intermittently.”

”We celebrated my sister's 60th birthday here (one of my favorite local restaurants) and it was her 1st time dining here. She fell in love from the moment she entered. The atmosphere, excellent customer service, the manager checking in on us and cracking a few good jokes and making sure we were having a good time all contributed to this being an amazing day for her. They always strive to make every moment special and I've never had a bad service experience here. I don't know how they continue to hire such wonderful staff but they should offer a training course to some of the other restaurants around here! ”I am from out of town and traveled to Bay Saint Louis. I wanted a great meal my first one in town so I chose a more upscale looking restaurant. I paid $140 for a meal that had to be sent back twice to be recooked. The baked potatoes were the worst I have had ever at a restaurant. They tasted like they had been in a warmer all day and were a dark brown color clear through the inside. Alfredo and mashed potatoes were heavy on garlic. Kids didn’t eat well and I paid way too much for a steak they didn’t know how to cook. Highly unsatisfied and a waste of money.”

The cheeseburger, the fries, the chili cheese fries, both po boys, and the malt shake! The PO boy bread is fantastic; just soft enough but not soggy, and not so crunchy it hurts. They were super filling and generous on all the fillings. And the fries were so good! Crispy but soft, well seasoned and this is with a 15 minute drive! Rebel dip is good ole comfort fast food with some terrific service. Definitely coming back!”

”It's basically a bar with subpar food. The place is dark and shabby looking. The shrimp basket is popcorn shrimp. I would not even call them popcorn. They were smaller than popcorn. I couldn't even taste the shrimp. My husband's sandwich was ridiculous. The only decent item was the homemade onion rings. The waitress was very good. I am sure this place is lots of fun to hang and have a drink and listen to music. Thumbs down on eating there.”

It was so wet that he had to put a paper towel at the bottom to collect the water. It was about 6:20 pm on 12/30./23.
