We were lucky enough to be there on the last night of a guitar camp, which meant we got to listen to a 2 hour jam session and walk back to our shack!! Don’t let the outside fool you! “Our stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites in Meridian, MS, was a delightful surprise! The rooms were impeccably clean and comfortable, providing a welcome respite after a long day. The staff truly made the experience exceptional. One employee, in particular, went above and beyond when dealing with a flooded room situation (not our room😉). Despite having to work overtime, he maintained a positive attitude and handled the situation with professionalism. His good attitude and humor were truly appreciated. Even at checkout, the friendly demeanor continued. The front desk agent (Torian) interacted warmly with my niece, making her feel welcome and valued. These personal touches left a lasting impression and solidified my positive experience at the Hampton Inn. Overall, I recommend the Hampton Inn & Suites in Meridian. The clean accommodations, helpful staff, and welcoming atmosphere create a perfect stay for business or pleasure. The rooms were also updated. They made our visit for the passing of our uncle a lot more peaceful.”

”Pros:: good location next to mossy oak and for driving through West Point. Staff helped with my forgotten toothbrush and were very accommodating in the morning when I forgot my key. Bathroom and room were clean and without mold. Encouragements:: a higher quality yogurt with less sugar would be a great addition at breakfast. Also, there was no soap in the dispenser of my shower, and there was no soap in the first floor public bathroom.”

”Loved our room (the Mary suite)! The room was super clean, AV worked great, the Aveda products were a nice touch, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I took off 1 star overall because the property is so close to the train tracks and the train comes through several times during the night. Even with that, I'd stay there again for sure. I do love the location except for that one thing. I took 1 star off of service only because I didn't have to interact with any of the Inn's staff. I'm sure they are lovely though! Definitely recommend!”

”Very clean and comfortable room! The location was perfect too, with a lot of restaurants and shops nearby. The front desk staff was kind and helpful, and there was a large lake with a sidewalk that that went all the way around it --the perfect spot to walk out dog. We really enjoyed our short stay here, and we will definitely book this Hampton again on our next trip though the Jackson area.”

”The hotel is old and dated, but for the most part, it is clean. However, the bathtub had stains in the bottom of the tub and in the crevices around the bsthtub. There was also dirt and stains around the bottom of the toilet. Luckily, I travel with bleach tablets and gloves. Front desk personnel was kind. Stayed 2 nights. Housekeeping knocked on the door and asked me to put towels in her dirty towel cart. She never came back to do anything. After going out for the day and returning in the evening. No clean towels ever brought, no replacement of coffee pods, no tidying of room, and although the trash was bagged neatly to be removed, it stayed until I checked out 2 days later. I visit the area often but won't be staying here again. I did appreciate the easy access to stores, gas, and restaurants.”

”The front gal was terrific, lobby beautiful, but walls thin, bathroom smelled like straight bleach (very strong chemical smell), the hotel room carpet is gross and way outdated. The ceilings are old popcorn except the bathroom where it’s sloppily painted half satin and half glossy paint. Walls are dingy dirty textured cream. Poor lighting. Red Rusty bathroom door hinges. Could use some room updates.”

”Nice clean place. But very Odd setup with no microwave or fridge in rooms. Hilton properties typically have all things needed for comfort. The Front Desk person offered those items for 20 additional bucks. Very silly. Will not consider staying here again for as much as I spent with the simple things not in the room. Also beware, the Policy states the staff will not enter your room unless requested. The cleaning person while appreciate clean towels broke policy. Was a very uncomfortable feeling.”

”I stayed at hotel on December 2, 2023 and my experience was absolutely wonderful. I was able to check in after midnight and the desk clerk was expecting me and checked me in quickly. Upon, checkout, the desk clear was extremely professional. For example, I requested a late check out and she checked the system prior to providing me an answer/solution. She offered an apology because she could not accommodate my request but she offered a solution. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I will be sure to stay again in the near future. Best place to stay!”
