”Stopped on our way through from Ark to Fla. Easy location to get to right off the interstate. Food was delicious. Just enough smoke, but not overly done. Brisket was tender, pulled pork was perfect with no fat or skin. Fried okra was crispy. Definitely recommend the brisket chili!! Homemade German chocolate cake for dessert! You won't go wrong stopping here.”

Overall a good restaurant but I have to leave a review after today’s lunch. 15% of my salad was rotten. Same for my wife. Totally unacceptable. $20 for two salads, Shouldn’t be any rotted lettuce in the salad. I can understand a piece or two of rotted lettuce. But there’s no way the person who made the salads didn’t notice the amount of rotten lettuce. Also, they are too often out of potatoes, even though potatoes seem to be something Walmart can regularly get and keep in stock.”

Either the food is sloppily prepared, order is wrong or in today's case sat for 30 + minutes after ordering, once everyone that was there when I came was served I waited. After the 3rd person that came after me was served I got up and left. I won't mention the loud yelling and story telling the guy behind the counter was doing or the number of times the N word flew out of his mouth. If you won't put competent in place to run your business its not worth me spending my money.”

It's more expensive than the chains (Papa Johns always has 25% off coupons you can find online), and the pizzas are smaller. I would at least expect the pizza to be great.....nope. the whole pizza tasted bland, and the sauce was so watery, it was dripping. It made the pizza soggy and gross. We got 3 pizzas, all 3 were like this. The tiramasu also just seemed frozen and store bought, which is a shame. We could have saved like $20, and just got Papa John's, which would have tasted way better. I advise anyone reading this to do the same.”

”My husband and I were looking for someone nearby to eat after I had gotten my hair done, and this restaurant was in the plaza next door to my salon. When I say that the seafood gumbo is the best my husband and I have ever eaten. The spices used were perfectly blended. The gumbo included crawfish tails and shrimp. I've never had seafood gumbo where the shrimp was so flavorful. My husband ordered the catfish platter and I ordered the shrimp platter. We both had waffle fries and side salad with our platters. My husband says the catfish was good and so was my shrimp. I'll most definitely be stopping back in to take some seafood gumbo home with me. It was absolutely delicious!”
