“Update: the wait without an appointment just to speak with an associate was about 90 minutes. It’s a Saturday morning and it’s busy. I get it. But when you say “we’ll be with you shortly” and then take 80 minutes just to speak with an associate, that’s a bit much. Finally spoke with an associate, first name starts with D. Helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly even though I wasn’t at this point. Good job. Not his fault that I had to wait so long. I got to the store at 9:15, was helped at 10:35. Vehicle promised back to me by 2:00pm. I initially only gave two stars, see below: Waiting room full of people on a Saturday morning in July 2023. One guy at the desk that hasn’t called up a customer in an hour. Associates laughing and joking about customers. This place has gone downhill in the past year. Take my advice, go somewhere else for your tires. Two stars because they generally have better prices than some other shops. One of the associates, first name starts with C (not pictured), looks like he’s either stoned or severely hungover (or both) and giggles every few seconds. “Thank you for calling Southaven Discount Tire, the greatest store in Memphis.” The only associate that looks like he’s working is Tyler. Props Tyler. Waiting for over an hour just to speak with an associate is unacceptable. Part of the issue may have been that their waiting list system was crashing or useless or both. Still, improvise. Use a pen and paper. It’s ridiculous. Get it together.”

“I was recently traveling from Alabama to Missouri, with a stay over in Tupelo. The moment that I parked my car in the hotel's parking lot, the Brake light came on on the dashboard of my 2005 Buick Le Sabre. Needless to say, being a solo female driver, who drives around the country, I rely on my car being in top shape at all times, and this Brake light issue had me worried. I spent the evening googling car repair shops, and Meineke came out on top of searches, with numerous 5 star reviews. I made an online appointment for the next day. When I arrived to my appointment, I was helped by the very nice and knowledgeable service manager. My car was quickly diagnosed (brake line that had rusted through) and repaired within two hours. During the wait time, I spoke with several incoming customers who had nothing but great things to say about this shop, most of them had been bringing their cars for 10 plus years! Wow, that spoke volumes to me. I was very pleased with everything from start to finish, and the cost of the repair was very reasonable (under $200, which included fresh brake fluid). Thank you so much for a great experience (as much as can be had for car repairs)!”

”My husband and went to see the sprint cars (congratulations #8) we absolutely loved it! The stands have plenty of room, so you walk by without disturbing anyone. The concession stand was well stocked, the chicken sandwich was my absolutely favorite. I would advise getting there early, because there isn't a huge amount of stands. The track is perfect, and sooo much fun to watch the different divisions race. The only con is they need more restrooms. The line moves fast though. We highly recommend this dirt track to anyone who loves dirt track racing. Kudos to Johnny for the time and effort he devotes to the track, and you can really tell he cares. He was there the night we went, driving a tractor packing the track!! Ray-Ray said to tell you hello. This track and the sprint cars are DEFINITELY a must see. They also have a non alcohol section!! This was our first time there, but definitely not our last. Vendors, employees, and fans all make you feel welcome. So far, this is our favorite!!”

Then when she finally was going to help was on the store phone and playing around on her personal phone, she had to ask me three different times what kind of car and what part I needed. It finalllllly appeared that she found the part then got back on the phone and did go look for it. After about 5 more mins of waiting I walked out in front of her with her saying nothing else to me. Would have liked to get a sticker on my windshield for the oil change and for my oil change light to be reset. They also charged me $20 before tax after someone originally quoted $18 before tax, but it's just $2, so no big deal. I'm sure that I'll be back for more service. Overall happy customer.”

The first experience they gave me a rental that had a chipped windshield so I had to call them after I got home to report the damage then the back windshield was broken witch my boss noticed and helped me fix. Then they are hard to get ahold of they just seemed either busy or had a bad day. The second time when I dropped the car off they where wonderful very nice professional I wish I knew the lady that checked me it she was so nice. The guy that drove me to my car waited for me and was polite with small talk very very professional!”
