“I ordered the vegetable soup and the veggie spring rolls. The vegetables in the soup were rather large. The soup had a good taste, but I added quite a bit of the seasoning they bring you. This helped it tremendously by giving it a little spice. The spring rolls were okay. Im going to say they are not made fresh, but that’s just my opinion. They could easily do a handmade one with fresh veggies, but not many places do this that I’m aware of. They tasted like any other frozen spring roll you buy anywhere. We went for our office Christmas party. The service was great, and everyone seemed pleased with their food. The table was very clean, as well as the silver ware and plates and bowls. I am a diabetic so I opted out of the traditional meal with the rice. The three stars on the food is specifically for what I ordered, not my coworkers. They all seemed very pleased with theirs.”

“It was my daughter's 12 birthday and this was her place of choice.. She loves the sushi and the hibachi experience and so do I. We had absolutely no wait at all and this was on a Friday night... maybe we just got lucky, bc the place wasn't empty by no means. Our hibachi chef put on a very good show and it was very entertaining for everyone at the table. The food was absolutely delicious and filling... We all had leftovers. Definitely recommend when it comes to the hibachi experience, the service, and the food!!”

“Hokkaido has smaller grill than what you'd typically see at a hibachi, and I like that. It seats smaller number of customers per grill so it's not too awkward sitting with bunch of strangers, unless you are a social butterfly and you like that. Fried rice, vegetables, and meats were well cooked but little too salty for my taste but I'm sure some people find this strong flavor well. Server was nice and prompt, and the chef was nice too. I'd definitely go back to try other things in their menu!”

“The food was delicious. I didn't realize that you could build your own bowls until later. Would be nice for the server to mention it when they ask us about ordering. Also would be nice if the server was a little more attentive, but service was not bad. Our waiter was nice. The waiters and servers probably won't tell you, but I will. Please act like you have some common sense when you come here. This one lady practically had two to three bowls of materials in one bowl. She took a tray from the cooks to put more food in. That is not what the trays are for. They are for the cooks to keep your bowls and sauces together. Once the lady took the tray, they removed the others to discontinue her behavior. I hope they charged her extra because she was being ridiculous. You can fit plenty in the bowl they give you, and there is a ton of food in the bowl. My wife and I had to take our portions home and it was still enough for another meal. With the variety of protein and meats, vegetables, spices, sauces, and the choices between fried rice, steamed rice, and all the different noodles, you can eat here several times and have something different everytime. Definitely looking forward to going back.”

”We came to get sushi. There were a lot of options of sushi rolls on the menu- both basic and unique ones. The tables and chairs were very clean but the floors were sticky. Both of our rolls (the Mississippi and the fire mountain) had flavor but were incredibly mushy. Each of our rolls were $10.50 which isn’t outrageous, but the quality and display of our rolls was disappointing.”
