“Elkins Resort was just perfect for us. The resort is so beautiful. The rooms have super comfy beds and have everything you need for the perfect stay. The staff is so friendly and do everything to meet the needs of its clients. Then the food is so good from snacks to dinner. Top chef does fantastic menu options. We were there for a family wedding and they made sure everything was set up just as we wanted. I can't thank the staff enough for making this trip one of the best we have had.”

“Service was good but the food was, at best, very mediocre. The menu has been pared back as the quality has declined over the past several years. Ponds used to be our favorite place in Island Park to enjoy a good meal and wide selection of beverages, sadly we are searching for a new go-to place. I ordered the chicken pot pie, while the flavor was good there was no identifiable chicken. My wife ordered the blue cheese burger which came out dry and overcooked”

“Loved our stay here! The staff was very friendly, enthusiastic, and accommodating. We were traveling with our dog and it was good to be in a place that made him feel welcomed too. Love the “pet of the week” contest they have going right now too! Room was clean and the common areas were all very nice. Black Bear Diner in the parking lot is also a HUGE win. For non pet people, FYI we did not have any experiences with other animals being disruptive at any point during day or night. Guessing the walls are sufficiently thick enough for that not to be a problem, so don’t expect you’ll have any issues.”

“There rooms are very nice. I had one with a balcony. The bathroom was a good one. You can even soak in the tub if you like. The hot water very hot if you need it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There breakfast is very nice. They do have a mean you can order from. Coffee is all ways available”

“Stayed here my wedding night this past April 2023. It was so disappointing. People, I waited 41 years of my life for marriage and my wedding night was in a dump. LOL. There were stains on the ceiling. The mattress was awful and we kept rolling into each other the whole night. This place needs a major renovation and so not worth the money right now. You are better off at the Marriott.”

“We visited in winter and it was tranquil & quiet with lots of wildlife to watch. The staff was accommodating but not overbearing. The main office is at the top of the hill away from the rooms and I liked that setup. The condo was huge & had everything you need to make your own meals, grill, and do laundry. Be sure to bring food because it is a half hour-ish to a grocery store. The indoor pool was well maintained & a comfortable temperature. There weren't many people at the property, so it was easy to find some pool time to ourselves. Covered parking below the rooms was a real nice touch and there were large carts on hand to haul your stuff to and from the condo. The whole experience was so lovely that we even stayed an extra night. I'm sure it's a different world in the high season, though! A big thanks to the staff who helped us secure an ADA room. :) Highly recommended.”
