“I love Fast Lane Indoor Kart Racing!! They have the best staff and the karts are fast!! And the new karts are electric and don’t have the fumes other places have. If you want some good, family fun, I highly recommend going a racing! I’ve done a quadruple date night there as well and it was so fun. They have party space as well and you can also rent out the place for corporate parties. Highly, highly recommend.”

“At The Club at SpurWing, my dining experience was nothing short of delightful. I had the pleasure of attending a golfing event with a buffet spread that left a lasting impression. Our waiter went above and beyond by offering us a sampler of the entire buffet, allowing us to savor a wide array of flavors. However, what stole the show for me were the shrimp tacos. Each bite was a burst of mouthwatering goodness, leaving me craving more. In short, The Club at SpurWing exceeded my expectations, offering a memorable dining experience. The impeccable service and delectable shrimp tacos made my visit truly special.”

Jerome Country Club
4.7
( 8 reviews )

649 Golf Course Rd, Jerome, ID 83338, United States

“Jerome country club is in really good shape. The front 9 is fairly easy and flat 9 holes that are stacked on-top of each other, so a lot of forgiveness off the tee. A few hazards with a creek running through the par 3 & 5. The back 9 is completely different than the front. It runs through homes giving a unique challenge off the tee's. Not as forgiving for the players than the front. I would highly recommend playing this course. The staff are friendly and warned me about green's that were punched 3 weeks ago.”

“Very nice gym. People leave you alone while working out and everyone is friendly. Gym is pretty clean. I've been going here for about 6 months, and for whatever reason, easily the last month the women's locker room has been gross. Toilet paper everywhere, the toilets have blood and poop on them (you'll see the same spot in the toilet for well over a week), and the showers have hair clumps, toilet paper and are visibly gross. Another lady warned me today about using the showers after she saw me trying to find the best-looking one, telling me that she got terrible athletes foot from the showers. I know, because I have it from their showers as well. The picture with the shower that has the large chunk of hair- has been like this going on 2 weeks. A lot of people use their locker rooms, and they need to be swept and disinfected far more often than they are. We shouldn't be seeing the same trash and spots for days or weeks. Update: 1/2 Will never not be shocked by the status of the showers. From the black mold to the soap scum, it's truly a bacterial wonder. The gym is always clean, locker rooms are clean, even the actual bathrooms aren't bad. But these showers will have the same spots on them for weeks before getting wiped down. The one with the conditioner on the wall has been like this for an entire week and a half. The toilet paper was a nice addition this time around. The light in one of the showers has been out for at least the last month. These showers have to be cleaned at the very least once a week. This is disgusting. The employees also seem to have plenty of time to do so, seeing as I'm rarely greeted and they seem to buy too busy talking with each other or on their phones. Surely, there is one time during everyone's shift they could do a clean up of bathrooms and showers.”

Jerome Recreation District

Open until 09:00 PM

2032 S Lincoln Ave, Jerome, ID 83338, United States

“I used to workout here because it was cheap. In recent months though they implemented this "don't lift too loud policy" it's literally just a bunch of grey area. Doing deadlifts "too loud," tink tink on the cables "too loud," re rack your weights believe it or not too loud. It doesn't help that the weight room is upstairs while they CrossFit/ yoga room is downstairs. Like both rooms are almost the same size. Just switch them or have another addition built on. Oh wait you guys can't build on because people who want a reasonable experience without being pestered aren't renewing their memberships.”

Crunch Fitness - Caldwell

“DO NOT GET A MEMBERSHIP HERE... if you ever plan on canceling at least. I got a membership with crunch a year ago and never used it because of how busy it was 24/7. I did the annual membership with the monthly fee. On my account it said that my account was active until a certain date. My understanding was once my account was no longer active I would not be billed... apparently that was incorrect. On the last day of my membership I was charged BOTH a monthly and annual fee. I am not sure why I would be charged BOTH when my account was supposed to go inactive but I also can not get an answer for that. I have called AND emailed three times since December 12th 2023. Every time I call, the manager is "busy" and they say they are going to cancel my membership and leave a note for the manager. Here I am a month later... no phone call or email back and i just got charged again! This is now the second time I have been charged a monthly fee after my inactive day and it is not like I have not tried to cancel it. I am very disappointed and VERY unimpressed with how this has been handled from Crunch. I have now paid over $100 AFTER my member was supposed to be "inactive" and can not get anyone to help me resolve my issue.”

Quail Hollow Golf Course

4720 N 36th St, Boise, ID 83703, United States

“Quail Hollow was my first golf adventure in Boise, Idaho. What a gem. I have to start with the surrounding environment - OMG!! Quail Hollow sits at the foot hills within the Stewart Gulch Park. Which means there are endless views of mountains which leaves you in awe. The course is an adventure in its own right. The first hole plays like any other parkland course, then there's the second hole - a steep climb to a 180 yd par 3 - where you're hitting across a deep valley onto a green that seems to sit on top of a mountain. A missed shot will require you to pitch straight up. Of course, when you go up, you have to come down. The third hole is a downhill par 4 dog-leg with a blind green. And that's much of the course. Every hole has an interesting feature that requires you to play conservative with accuracy, whether it be the winding dog-legs, rolling hills, mountainous views, blind fairways, perched greens, tall grasses, or ponds, you'll be sure to play every club in the bag. Sometimes it's smarter to leave the driver and go to the 3W off the tee. Hole14 plays up into a steep valley. Thought it's 300 yards you'll need to play this like it's 400 because you're playing this hole straight up. On the way down is number 15, a narrow 170 yard par 3, sandwiched between a mountain side and the 14th, with a hundred yards of shrubs and tall grass, where you'll have to go down a few club lengths to accommodate for the slope. The 18th is the signature hole, 400 plus yards from an elevated tee box that feels like hundred feet overlooking a pond, onto a curvaceous green. I love to walk. Because of the shifts of elevation and the steep climbs I would suggest to cart. The round should play just over 4 hours. The overall condition of the course is better than the average public course. Everything is well groomed and maintained. The practice areas aren't wow, but are adequate for a quick pre-game warm up. And the pro shop has everything you would expect from a wide range of balls, to clothing and gear. And the staff are Boise friendly and laid back. So are most of the people playing the course. Well worth the price. There's not much to stay around for after your round. Maybe a beer and then head home. As I was travelling to Boise, it's a ten minute UBER to downtown Boise.”
