Camp Coeur D'alene

10588 E Wolf Lodge Bay Rd, Coeur d'Alene, ID 83814, United States

“We came for a couple nights in our ouch and tow vehicle to spend some time near where my wife’s father lived for many years. Corrupt d’Alene is still as lovely as it was 15years ago when our kids spent their summers here. The campground is clean, well organized and has many amenities including free firewood and canoes/kayaks to use! The cabins are cute but we didn’t stay in one so not sure how the insides are. The outdoor community kitchen area is awesome, as are the bathrooms and showers. The staff was very friendly and were always busy tidying up and maintaining the sites. The pull through sites are pretty tight, we were lucky it was quiet and no one was in the site right next to us. Otherwise we would be right on top of each other. Other than that, the smaller vehicle sites are spaced a bit further apart and more private. Overall, very nice place and we recommend it highly.”

“Best hot springs around. They are rarely packed. Totally worth the extra drive time... Super kind and friendly staff and the restaurant is very very good. Teepees in the summer are a must. We love it there.”

“Great Snowshoeing trails and rentals too! We did Cowboy Cabin and Valley View trails. They were well groomed and had good amount of snow. Valley View trail has the best views among these two, and Cowboy Cabin trail is relatively flat. Trails on the south side had more dirt on them than snow.”

“Most uncomfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. Pillows as thin as paper. So disappointing because the resort and amenities are FABULOUS. Seriously the best. Drove 8.5 hours to attend a wedding nearby and stayed here and was upset to find the bed hard as a rock. The couch was more comfortable. I would return every year if I hear that the beds are replaced or even if they put memory foam pads on them… the staff was wonderful, until check out. No where does it say to take out the room garbage before checking out until I noticed it on a small piece of paper in our room on the counter?? So husband went to front desk to ask where we take garbage to and rude receptionist with Austrailian accent started yelling at him that she doesn’t take garbage and the dumpsters were outside. Apparently inconvenienced her. Also was checking out and she was on the phone and rudely asked me what I wanted. Maybe she was having a bad day- but to not be kind to a customer at a resort that’s clearly not busy in the winter… yikes. Also morning of leaving, we were waken up to very loud banging at 7:30 AM and found out that they were working on the side of the building right next to our room, so we just got up and left since there was no sleeping in. Please do something about the beds and I would love to come back every year.”

Zims Hot Springs

2995 Zims Rd, New Meadows, ID 83654, United States

“The day we went, the big pool was 94 degrees and the small pool was 106. Temps were perfect for the adults in the group and my toddler was comfortable the whole time as well. We had a great time. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxing. This is going to be one of our regular family activities!”

“Fairly nice. Not exceptional. Laundry expensive and the closest to us only accepted digital payment with an app. When I tried to install it, it wanted a tic Tok installation first. Way too much trouble! Spaces fairly small and not well planned. Note to this app: RV spaces don't have anything to do with "rooms", so some of your questions are irrelevant.”

“Wow don’t ever have car trouble by this place. Talk about scary. My boyfriend was driving home from his 12 hour shift at the hospital in his commuter car that he just bought to save mileage on our ‘22 4Runner and the alternator broke down. As people who’ve worked in trauma hospitals we know that the best course of action to ensure safety for ourselves and other drivers is to not be on the side of the freeway in the dark if possible. He made the “mistake” of coasting down by this particularly awful RV resort and then was harassed by some woman in a yellow vest named Lucille. She continually made it a point that he was on private property even after she was informed that a tow truck was on the way. She progressed to take photos of his vehicle and harass the tow truck driver as well while in the midst of recovering the vehicle claiming that the dirt road (which based on another review has been that way for at least two years) could easily be damaged. I then had to waste the Caldwell PD’s time making a report to make sure that none of us were indeed breaking the law, which we weren’t. Lucille then continued to barrage us with threats of being on private property in the midst of leaving this fine establishment. As an avid camper and person whom works with people I cannot recommend this business. I can only hope the owner sees my one star review and the others from over the years, which I’m sure are also describing their lovely employee Lucille. As a 5th generation Idahoan I was always taught to try and help people who may be in trouble, especially with cars, but I can tell Lucille was certainly not raised in such a way. I myself have had car trouble on more than one occasion and have never been harassed until tonight.”
