Best salsa/pico de gallo, refried beans, carne asada(they actually use skirt steak here, not chewy stew meat), rice was traditional and cooked well, chips were fresh, the flan and horchata was perfection. To all the Californians trying to find good Mexican food like back home, look no further.”

“Ten orders of food…with drinks…for UNDER $120?!?!? This little “hole-in-the-wall” restaurant is easy to miss unless you use your navigation system, so don’t drive past it. The service here is top-notch with friendliness, courteousness, helpfulness and patience. The best. The food selection is outstanding especially with their meat selection!!! I ordered the menudo. It was authentic and delicious…with handmade tortillas!! It was a huge meal that others could easily charge $25 to $35 for. I paid $14.99 and almost needed crutches to get out of there because I was so full!! I just wish I would have had a bigger stomach so that I could order some tacos too!! Tripas, lengua, asada, buche and more!!! Hey…. It’s also been YEARS since I’ve had a strawberry horchata!!…and it was great!!! If you’re ever in this area or passing through on your way to Yosemite, this is highly recommended by me (your Tijuana-born Mexican). Eat responsibly.”
