“Great food and atmosphere. We stumbled on Da Marcello on the second night of our holiday and have dined there most nights since. The restaurant is run by a Sicilian family and offers a quality comprehensive menu with classic Italian dishes including Arancini, perfect pasta and a comprehensive wine list. There are lovely wood fired Neapolitan style pizzas, local and Italian beers including those from Sardinia and Sicily, a huge wine list with many from Sicily and the pistachio tiramisu is also exceptional. We would highly recommend Da Marcello.”

“I went with a friend to this restaurant. She ate spaghetti aglio olio and I ordered some tapas. The first impression was fine, the restaurant was quite well booked therefore we had to wait a bit till we got our drinks etc. When we got our food I realized (more to the end) that my gratinated goat cheese I ordered had a black hair stuck on the side, seems like it was grilled together with the cheese. To mention here is also that me and my friend have light brown\ brown hair (on our face and our head :) ). Can happen but we were already done with our food at least 40 minutes and no waiter in sight. When I our waitress came and I told her my founding she took my plate without any comment and walked to the kitchen. Once she came back she just told me that she ordered a new plate for me. Since we were already done and my hunger also left I told her I don‘t want a new plate. She seemed quite unhappy and then told us something quite undefinable and walked away. As a customer I felt very uncomfortable with her reaction, sometimes a quick apology from the kitchen and a smile can fix a bad vibe. When we ordered the bill we waited another 20 minutes, she took the goat cheese from the bill which we appreciated of course. The restaurant is nice but I you‘re looking for good hospitality this might be the wrong place.”

“We are outside under the tree and it was magical. The waiters were super nice, something quite uncommon in this island. The pizza was INCREDIBLE. They were huge and tasted great. The spicy olive oil is indeed spicy so be careful. Chicken tenders and tiramisu were really good as well. A must in this island !”

“I had the most enchanting evening at Bahia Mediterranean. From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance whisked us away into a world of romance. The decor set the mood for a perfect date night. The star of the show was undoubtedly the seafood. If you're looking for a place with good food, service and view I recommend a visit here. The only negative impression was the entrance of the hotel and the tiny and slow elevator.”

“This is supposedly a pizzería but the pizza is one of the worst I have eaten. The base is thin, but so dense, nothing has risen in the dough. Like a frozen kind you buy at a bad supermarket. The top is inundated with cheese, not mozzarella obviously. The nachos were a small portion of chips flooded again with cheese. Too expensive for what was offered. Staff was very friendly hence the five stars and the atmosphere relaxed with view to the beach. Come for a drink but not for the food.”

“Well, where to start....for a newly opened venue, and considering it was an Italian restaurant in Majorca, albeit one with a sister restaurant elsewhere I understand, food was pretty much perfect, service was excellent, wine was well matched. Excellent aperitif selection ...Brockmans G & T to begin with... berries a nice touch. Aoli, olives breadsticks nice intro....carpaccio and natchos to start, (very large portions...watch out!), were very good; only small slip was failure to pre-dress rocket with balsamic, but quickly remedied. Main pasta dish was very tasty and generous...lamb rack with crumb dressing was perfectly cooked..not overdone, excellent flavours, nonna (garlic) potatoes a great balance. Majorcan wine was a good, light balance, and complimentary limoncello went down very well. Even the finale coffee was superior to many I have had recently in the town. All in, a very good meal, in a clean, very modern and attentive new venue and at a value vs price ratio that puts many other venues to shame, especially in these tight times...will be back v soon!”
